me and my friends were visiting our friends on oregon and went to troutdale just to walk around and go to stores. we are all younger and the second we walked in the store the people were following us around making it uncomfortable for us to be in there and i had picked up a few items that i wanted to buy for friends and family. after coming upstairs from the downstairs section of the store the lady whom im assuming was an owner or manager asked me if i took the ornament i had with me down stairs and what i did with it. and then she asked my friends the same thing about things that they had picked up and put back down it was so rude of them. to just assume because we are young that we were going to steal from their store and i had fully intended on buying things there i was so furious i put everything away and stormed out.

We traveled from California and ALWAYS stop at the General Store and spend money. We had been documenting our trip and I went to take a picture of my daughter wearing a mask (that I was going to buy) and a man says, rudely, no pictures. I planned on spending money in this store but left after we were told this. I spent 160.00 at Rustic store next door and was prepared to spend about the same amount here. No way. I can get all the same stuff at other stores or on the internet. No pictures ! Get a grip !!

The Troutdale General Store is like stepping back in history a bit. It has old weathered wooden floors and has an ambiance to it that just makes you feel at ease. It has a ton of shabby chic items for sale, as well as some other art and craft items and tons of candy. The coffee is great and the food is very good as well. If you dare, try any of the delicious chocolates that they have. It is definitely worth stopping in and looking around. You wont be disappointed.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! Great place great people good food old time country store with lots of touristy items to draw you in thanks girls for making it a great little place for lunch AND I was able to carry my little dog in so he didnt have to stay out in the hot car Super Awesome

This shop is a quaint old-fashioned general store. I highly recommend perusing this place with a loved one. There are cheap knickknacks and candies as well as a food counter where you can order sandwiches.

Absolutely love this place! It has the best smoked salmon chowder Ive ever had and amazing coffee. It has 3 stories of stuff to look at, including a whole floor of Christmas and Halloween decorations!

Fun store with tons and tons of adorable gifts and knick knacks !!! My kind of place. You can have lunch or ice cream at the long bar while you meet locals and travelers alike! Fun place!!
