We go here only if theres no other choice... i.e. CC Market, or Hobys Market is closed. Dollar General is pretty much mostly over priced B stock on everything and always under stocked. Store is not very clean, very disorganized with product shipments always blocking the isles while many shelves are missing stock items. Most of the time theres only one register open. Ive even seen the manager more than once walk back to their office with only one person working a register while 7-10 customers are waiting in a single line to check out. Store employees are clearly not very happy employees either. Seldom will you get a laugh or even a smile out of them. Im sure theyre all very under paid and kept well below full time so the greedy corporation wont have to pay health benefits. Im guessing the manager is the only person working who gets health benefits. I dont blame the employees at all, how would you feel working for an employer who clearly only cares about their profits? Bottom line... Do your shopping before 9 PM and you can shop at CC Market a family owned Market and Hobys in Scotia is open until 10 PM. Avoid this place.

Since the new manager. Its snapping into shape. My experience with employees has been pleasant. And appearance has approved greatly.

A great place in town to get quick essentials like toilet paper and milk that you dont want to have to drive 20 minutes for.

lots of items & employees are nice. Some great deals but some things are over priced.
