Napa General Store is a restaurant/store in one situated at the edge of Downtown Napa. They serve great breakfast and have seating available inside and outside. The food and mimosas are really tasty and even though the service can be slower due to how busy they are, the servers are super nice. The store sells wine accessories, jewelry, kitchen supplies, and other gift-idea trinkets. Napa General Store is in an old warehouse-looking building right next to/part of what used to be the Napa Mill. The name “Napa” comes from the language of the Wappo Tribe of Native American Indians who once shared the valley with deer, grizzly bears, elk and panthers. The first recorded exploration of Napa Valley, led by Padre Jose Altamira, was in 1823. The population at the time was estimated at between three and six thousand Indians. This info and more is available as you stroll through old Napa Mill area adjacent to the Napa General Store.

Nice restaurant and decent food, friendly staff. I just think paying $2.00 extra for a very tiny bit of real maple syrup for your French toast is unreasonable, as the prices are already high, and what self respecting restaurant would serve fake syrup as the standard? Trust me, that was only a couple of tablespoons of syrup. It was nice to give a giant dollop of whipped cream on the side, though.

This was probably the best brunch place Ive eaten at. The food was AMAZING, the staff was friendly and fast, and the location was beautiful. Be sure to try the corn meal pancakes and the huevos rancheros (the pico de gallo was perfection). Also, the in-house store has a great selection of Napa-themed goods and crafts.

Cute but their hostess for their restaurant was a bit dense and had us wait for two hours and we still didnt end up being seated (and itsw not because it was busy - she just kept on giving our table to other parties 2x and apologizing) I recommend going to the restaurant right next door!

Delicious food with plenty of healthier items and great service. The building is in the heart of downtown with an old school feel as a legit general store and plenty of outdoor seating. I definitely recommend this place before a long day touring the vineyards!

The food here was absolutely incredible. Probably one of the top 5 breakfast places Ive ever been to. Everyone in our group loved the food. We ate outside in the courtyard and it was beautiful. Service was awesome, will definitely come back again.

Had to threaten to leave because it took forever to get our food. We were told lie after lie why our food was still prepared and when the dishes arrived, they were barely warm. Definitely not returning and would not recommend.

Average breakfast for high prices...coffee is ok...the staff are friendly, but they have a trend of being slow...the french toast has got to be their best breakfast dish...have to order a side of potatoes though...
