I recently traded in my car for a different car on the lot. I was VERY pleased with the service, everyone there was prompt and friendly. 2 months later - updated review: My car started making a slight rattling noise in the front end about a month after I got it. I progressed to get louder and finally I took it to my mechanic to check it out. Turns out the CV joint was bad on the passenger side causing the noise. During his inspection of the car it was found that the skid plate clip/plugs were all broken off by a lazy mechanic not removing them properly to change the oil. The window stick indicated RG Auto repair changed the oil and it wasnt due again until 104k miles, funny b/c the oil smelled horrible and the car had less than 1 quart of oil in it and it isnt leaking, the car only holds 3.4 qts so it was pretty much empty. The front brakes were completely bad and there was no way RG Auto should have passed the inspection on the vehicle which my guess is they didnt and thats why the inspection sticker was glued onto the window and looks like crap! Not to mention the spare tire in the truck was flat and dry rotted. Oh and there was also no coolant in the vehicle either. Sure glad I got my vehicle checked by a real mechanic. I assume this place has affiliation with RG Auto and they BS everything for them for a fair price. Buyer beware and be sure to have a mechanic check out your vehicle BEFORE you buy it.

I went to LA Auto Star after seeing a vehicle I was interested in on Craigslist. I took a first look when I arrived by myself and wanted a closer look, so I went in to request a key. I met Gilbert at that time, and he provided me the key, told me to look it over, and to let him know if I had any questions. I looked at the car for a few minutes, and Gilbert came out to see if I had any questions. He answered the ones I had, and I left for the day. A couple days later I returned to test-drive it. Gilbert was very accommodating, I made an offer, he countered, and we had a deal. He drew up the paperwork, contacted the credit union where I was already approved, and a short time later, I was on my way home in my new gently used car. Since I had been looking for this particular vehicle for a while, I knew right away that this car was reasonable priced, even compared to private sellers on other internet sites. Whoever owned this car prior to me was meticulous with it, and looking around the lot, it appears that the LA Auto Star staff is very selective with the cars they choose to sell on their lot. Im very content with my purchase and will definitely contact Gilbert when looking for another car. Theyre family-oriented, genuinely friendly, and offered me a fair deal. Thanks for the really great experience, as buying a previously owned car has the potential to be painful. I love the car!

Really cant say enough great things about this dealer. My wife and I had a limited time to get our son to a school performance, and Gilbert was absolutely comitted to getting everything squared away in order for us to make it on time. As far as the vehicle: when people ask, theyre in disbelief when I say the Jeep is 8 years old. Chrysler doesnt change the style/look of the Wranglers like other makes and models, and from bumper to bumper, inside and underneath, to the engine bay - it is the textbook definition of absolutely excellent condition. It being a vehicle that has/will see a little off road action, I took it upon myself to change all the fluids so I can have my preferred brands in there, and also to see what the current fluids look like. From the crank case oil, transfer case, transmission, to the front and rear differentials - the fluids were prestine. I even changed the plugs and wires and used a bore scope to take a peak at the cylinders while I was at it. Totally impressed about everything I saw. All in all - service was absolutely great and I got a fantastic vehicle at a very fair price. I would recommend LA Autostar every day of the week, and twice on Sunday!

I had been to LA Autostar searching for a Jeep twice and my experience isnt that pleasant. The first time was better, because we interacted with a Lady in there.. the second time was like you walk into the store and they did not seem to be inviting. The dealer wasnt even bothered in pleasantry greetings, ask alone take a seat. After a test drive we werent even invited inside to discuss further on a deal! Not sure how that attitude attracts customers. I dint feel like going back to make a deal. After reading the reply on the review, Im actually wondering if a dealer can ask ~4000$ less on our vehicle when we trade in, why cant a customer ask the same? Somebody feels the pinch? Frankly speaking, I went to this store only after reading the google reviews and since its good I walked in not once but twice. Maybe I wasnt lucky there! I appreciate the owner taking his time to respond and respect that, please do ensure that that you do not speak to a customer at the parking lot on the deal, rather get them inside, make them feel comfortable and then talk on the price! My suggestion!

Wanna feel like an LA Star? Go to LA AutoStar and make your vehicle purchase! I give them 10 stars! The Amazing family staff there went way out of their way to make my jeep purchase fantastic. Gilbert was great, he had all the paperwork ready for me once I arrived and I was done with the whole process in half an hour.. I found the jeep Ive always wanted on their website & I drove all the way from Frederick MD to make the deal, even though they would have shipped it to me.. Marina was amazing as well, she spent hours on the phone with Chrysler to obtain the remaining warranty on my jeep. As far as the financing, Gilbert did an outstanding job with that, I received a great interest rate due to their relationship with the credit union. Gilbert even helped me get the jeep ready for the road. When my daughter graduates college Ill be buying her vehicle from LA AutoStar. So, if youre in the market for an auto be sure to go there, youll be satisfied. To all the staff at LA AutoStar thanks so much. CO

I wrote this review a year ago and forgot to post it=) So... The year passed. And the car have +20k miles now, runs great. I still agree with every word of the review. We bought a car at LA Auto Star in November 2015, and we really enjoy it. It wasnt an easy task to find the car we needed. I could say, it was "mission impossible". We wanted a small SUV, reliable, better if japan, not expensive=). Every dealer we visited before LA, wanted us to change our mind, buy another car, buy more expensive car. Nobody wanted to listen to us. Id like to thank the owners of the company, they really listen their customers and try to do the best to help, not only sell. We bought a car almost twice cheaper we expected but in a very good condition! LA Autostar business is well organized. The information on the website is 100 % real. When you arrive there you see the cars listed on the website. Everything is smooth.
