Bought my wifes vehicle from them and everything was fine so went back to get my son a vehicle 2 months later. I picked out a nice vehicle for him and since it was the day before Christmas and they were going to be closed for the next couple of days they were a little pushy to have me take the vehicle home so I could give it to my son for Christmas. I worked out the deal with Chris that as soon as the insurance check I was expecting came in I would come in and pay the vehicle off in full so there was no down payment involved. We came in a couple days after Christmas and used my sons old Van as a trade in on the new vehicle, finalized all the paperwork and again I told Chris that I would be in within the next few days to pay it off. Everyone was happy and off we went. Being the holidays things were moving slower than normal and I did not get the check until a week later, all during this time I was in constant contact with Chris and he told me no problem. I received the check on Dec 31st and called Chris and told them that I would be in as soon as the banks opened Monday morning with a cashiers check, he told me that was fine. I showed up Monday morning as promised and the Chris I had been working with had been fired and another Chris had taken over. I explained to the new Chris what had been agreed upon between myself and the old Chris and he was very rude and told me that the deal that the other Chris had made was against company policy and because we were waiting for the title to arrive on my sons trade in Van ($400 btw) I would need to have a credit card on file so they could charge the $400 they had offered for the trade in on the Van and once the title was delivered they would reimburse me for the $400. I told him that was not what was agreed to and if they were going to be jerks about this I would take the $15,000 cashiers check I had made out to them and I would take my business elsewhere. They could not do that because they werent even sure where the van was. I told him that they were not going to get a credit card from me and just as I promised with the check I would deliver the title as soon as it arrived from California. He kept insisting that the deal that the old Chris had made with me was against company policy and I told him I didnt care because at the time the deal was made he was an authorized employee of the company. This new Chris was rude and obnoxious and treated me like I was trying to rip them off for the $400 trade in. Things calmed down after the salesman came in and told him that the deal was worked out with the now fired Chris. I gave them the check, got my receipt and told them that I would be in with the title as soon as it arrive. About 10 days later the title arrived from California and I took it into them and they had no idea what it was for. This made me a little upset because Chris had made such a big deal of it. When I talked to him about it he was even more rude than the first time. I left there and called the corporate office and talked to them and they assured me that the manager would give me a call back, well it has been months and I have heard nothing from them. They have lost all my business and I am recommending that no one ever buys vehicle from them.

The salesman we used was great until the final paperwork was signed. We purchased an almost new 2016 Honda Odyssey with only 3200 miles on it. The van was in great shape aside from a noise in the dash and a polarizing effect on the plastic shield for the audio display. We were told by Chris Sandlin our salesman that he would contact the dealer and set up an appointment to have the van looked at. Days went by with no contact so I Called to check and see what the status was. Chris was not available but the associate that answered the phone said he would let him know and he would call us. No call later and I try again and get no call back again. Finally got a message from him saying that he was checking into it? We took the van on a weekend trip just a week after purchase and the oil life popped up and said "Oil Life %15". I wanted to get the issues looked at and get the oil changed at the same time. Tried to call one last time and got Chris on the phone. Chris said "you can call down there and set up an appointment to get that stuff done" this tells me that he did NOTHING!!! After he sold us the vehicle. I will not suggest anyone use Drivers World because it just seems that they only want your money and will not follow through with anything after that. Very disappointed.

Ive gotten 2 cars through Drivers World and both times I had great experiences. I got both of them through Reggie Dildy and he is the absolute man! Hes really laid back. He treated each of his customers like family and he knows his stuff. He wont try to pressure you into anything and I GUARANTEE every time you go in there and see him, youll walk out with a smile on your face. The 1st car I got through him got totaled in an accident but when I went back, he found me the perfect car that was within my budget. It had to go through the shop to get inspected and needed to be cleaned but I went in on a Saturday and everything was closed. But on my Monday it was available. I work all week (in Hampton at that) and couldnt pick up my new car. Reggie took the time out of his day to deliver my new 5 speed VW to my work! He really is an amazing guy with a big heart. Go see him and you wont be disappointed. Im recommending Reggie Dildy at Drivers World to everyone I can! Thanks Reg!

My Buick died on me unexpectedly after years of venerable service, and I had to get a new car quickly. I went to Drivers World after receiving several recommendations from friends; I was not disappointed. Jeffery Cannon was knowledgeable about the Drivers World (and other Checkered Flag) inventory and patient with me during my search for a new car. I take my time with decisions such as this, and he did not pressure me to make a decision before I was ready. I really appreciate this, since I do not like getting "sold" on something. We ended up making a deal on a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. I couldnt have been happier with my decision. It had everything I wanted, which was surprising since when I started I was sure I was going to get a Toyota. Jeffery was great to deal with, and I recommend anyone who is looking for a new car in Hampton Roads to at least stop by and have a talk with him. My only regret is that I cannot give more than 5 stars!
