I have purchased a lot of cars through the years and have had both good and bad experiences. However, our time with Chris Brown at VW of Reading was a very pleasant experience. We had a two year old in tow both visits and the whole staff made us feel very at home. Chris went out of his way to make sure we got the car and deal that we wanted as well as what I needed to get for my trade-in. The sales manager even played with my son while my wife and I finalized the deal. On another note, I can not tell you how many salesman I have worked with that did not know their product. Chris impressed me with how much he knew about our Tiguan. Not only did he know everything about the electronics, for example, he was able to effectively teach the gadgetry to my non-techie wife with ease. As a school teacher, that impressed me. I will definitely return to Chris and VW Reading when the new GTI comes out next year. So when we purchased my wifes Tiguan a few months ago (see above review), I really was not looking for a car for myself, however, I was so impressed with Chris Brown and the dealership that I went back to look at the GTIs. Chris spent an entire Saturday (and more) with me, trying out several models and working out numbers. What was great was how Chris did not mind spending the time and actually seemed to enjoy it. If you have shopped for a new car recently, you know this is a rarity. Chris did what he had to do to find the EXACT and perfect GTI for me. I am very particular and I am certain that I found just the right car. I love it. And the best part is that I get to continue my relationship with Reading VW as a service customer. And one more thing, Chris knows his VWs!

I will start off by saying that I was extremely lucky to get an almost immediate email response by Dana after showing interest in an A5 on the dealers website. This progressed to very timely responses back and forth as she wanted to know EXACTLY what I wanted in a car so she could best find the perfect car for me. I admit I was a difficult client haha. I had very particular things i wanted in my A5, being a manual transmission was one of them. Dana went above and beyond to find MY car, even having to flatbed it from a different state. I believe it is important to note that Audi Reading was the THIRD Audi dealer I visited. The previous 2 dealers made little to NO effort in finding me MY car. I was met with "we dont have any", "why dont you think about an S3 instead", " how about this A4"... Dana made this process so easy and efficient for me. She was not pushy at all and did not even consider offering me a car I was not requesting. Once they got the car in, I visited their location (which is stunning) and met with Dana and the staff. Everything was explained exceptionally well and I felt very comfortable. All the paperwork was done before I even arrived! I would HIGHLY recommend everyone looking for an exceptional car at an exceptional dealership to visit Audi Reading!!! YOU MUST ALSO REQUEST DANA! She is the absolute best!!!

Had a flat in my 2004 Honda near their dealership. They were very helpful and understanding. They inspected the flat and let me know it was not repair-able. They searched and found tires in stock that might be a match, but when they investigated further, they said it would not be safe because this particular tires were not listed on the door sticker as options. So, rather than try to sell me inappropriate tires, or make me wait until they tried to find tires at another dealership, they put my spare (doughnut) tire on and suggested some retailers they felt would definitely have the tires I needed in stock. They told me there was no charge before they did the work. Within about 10 minutes they returned to let me know the spare was on. I asked if I could pay for their service. They said, "no" and that they were sorry they couldnt be more helpful. Can you imagine this kind of service from an auto dealership in 2013? Honestly, before this experience - I could not. I dont own an Audi, but I would definitely consider having my car serviced there, and the next time Im in the market for a new car, you can be sure Audi Reading will be getting a visit from me.

Can`t believe Dealer has 4.8 star rating, don`t deserve 1 star.Had bad experience. All started with Diana (Customer Experience Coordinator). I Was interested in car that this dealer had, gave her my VIN number for trade in and told her I was interested in buying car next day(was taking day off from work specifically for that). Didn`t hear nothing from her (apparently she took rest of the day off it was 9 30 am). So I called Audi Reading directly told them I am interested in car. Manager called me back and I scheduled my appointment for next day. It was 2 hours drive for me to get to place (I told manager about it to). I got to the place and sales manager telling me the car not align! (When test drove it it was going far right)Then he telling me was no gas in car so he is thoughtfully put half tank for me (so nice). Car had body damage, looked like was in accident. Was not specified on web site, and no pictures of damage. Couldn`t trust that dealer so I left and Bought similar car with no damage and dealer that cared.

Having purchased thirty cars over the last forty years, I have had many experiences with car dealers. Some of those experiences are memorable for all the wrong reasons. In contrast to those, my experience at Volkswagen Reading was excellent. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I spent two weeks evaluating other vehicle options. While the staff from Reading Volkswagen kept in contact during that time, they never once pressured me into making a decision. Finally, I have found a car dealer who respects that I have the right to take my time to make the right decision for my situation and understands that their role in the process is to provide the best information and most competitive deal regarding their product. I so appreciate this type of relationship, that I will definitely recommend Chris Brown and Volkswagen Reading at any appropriate opportunity and will return when the time comes that I need another vehicle.

This was my first time purchasing a new car since 2002. I loved my Jetta so I wanted another VW. I was not looking forward to the whole new car buying process but Chris Brown immediately put me at ease. The dealership has a very friendly atmosphere and I felt very comfortable. Chris knew everything about my new Tiguan and was able to answer all my questions. He really helped me to learn all of the new technology that has come along since my 2002 Jetta. I also had my 2 year old along and they were so good with him. I can tell you that you will not get the same feel from other dealerships. I actually look forward to my service visits as the whole staff is very welcoming. I will recommend Chris to all my friends and family. Additionally, Jason Rex, the sale manager was super nice as well. I hope Chris and Jason are both there when I need my next VW!!!!! Thank you guys for being awesome!
