Where do I even begin. Long story short, they sold me a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution with some blown piston rings. They knew the car had an engine issue. They had taken car to a shop and checked out, one day prior to me looking at it they had just gotten it back from the shop. The salesman told me it had been looked at by a speciality shop and everything, "checked out". I purchased the car and took it to my favorite local speciality shop. Come to find out its the same shop Car Direct LLC had taken the vehicle to before I bought it. The shop found out the motor had an issue and was losing compression on two cylinders. They informed Car Direct of the issue which Car Direct didnt want to investigate any farther. They picked it up from the shop, and set it on their lot then the very next day I purchased it. After confronting them with this information I was told we would have a second shop we agreed on look at it and then if it had the same results they would take it back no issue. Sounds good right? They call and recommend a different shop the next day. I take it there, same results, needs new engine. Then, they refused to take the vehicle back or repair it unless a third shop (a Mitsubishi dealer, specifically Little Joes only) looks at it. (I have proof of all this in writing). I wanted to take it to a better dealer but they told me they wouldnt accept the results, it had to be Little Joes Mitsubishi, I had to talk to 1 of 2 specific people at Little Joes, say nothing about the possible issue, inform them it was for Car Direct, then let Car Direct know after I drop it off. I took it to my preferred Dealer instead because Car Direct LLC said that we would agree on where ever my vehicle went, but they gave my one option. I explained this many times to the manager to no avail. So I took my car to my Dealer of choice. Comes back from a Mitsubishi Dealer, requires immediate attention, needs new motor. After showing them the third results they finally offered to take it back at a full refund. I definitely wont recommend them. Yes they took the car back, after I jumped through many hoops +1 star for that because I cant give zero anyway. This whole ordeal took about thirty days of fighting back and forth. Numerous heated phone calls and e-mails. This whole ordeal hurt my credit for no reason because I had to have another credit check done for a second vehicle. I had to get the BBB involved and consult a Lawyer as well as lose money for the servicing. This is 100% factual information and I have proof of everything I have written backing it up so dont try to have this removed saying this information is false. Anyone can contact me at anytime and I will gladly show proof of everything I stated. The only thing opinionated I have written is that I wouldnt reccomend Car Direct LLC. I was going to leave this alone until people were talking about law suits, just because another person states their opinion on a public forum. I also noticed all their good reviews are by, "Google Users." All the good reviews talk only on the sales process, none of the issues they had after. Im not saying theyre fake, but they dont speak on the product they bought. Check yelp for the honest reviews. They made the buying process easy, theres no denying that. But they intentionally sold a car that they knew needed a motor, it just happened to still run. Just not to its full potential. Not to mention they banned me from commenting on their Facebook just because my friends and family went in on them.

If you are military like we are, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! THEY WILL TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!!!!! If I could give no stars, I would! We live in NC so when we found the truck of my husbands dreams here, we thought it was awesome! We made sure that before we ever drove up there that we were approved for the loan and everything! We were GUARANTEED to be in our price range and that we were approved so we made the 3 and a half our drive there with our 8 month old daughter in tow. We get there and everything seemed to be going good, until it got to the finance manager, Patrick. Thats when everything went south! We were then told that in order to be in our budget we had to put 2k down, if not the payment would be more than we could afford. Furious, my husband grabbed our keys and went to leave when Scott, the original salesman, started YELLING at him saying its not his fault and that we shouldve expected to put something down! First of all, we told him before even coming that wasnt an option. We kept asking for our APR and what the amount was for and how much payment would be, all being assured by Scott that it was a good rate and wed be in budget with no money down and a good price on our trade in. LIES. As we were leaving another salesman, Jason, approached us and gave us an idea for how to make our payment and make this work. He was the ONLY ONE who had our best interest in mind. Reluctantly, we agreed and signed the paperwork thinking all was good and the truck was ours! WRONG. Exactly 1 week later, they call to inform us that the loan was in-fact NOT approved and we needed to return the truck. How did we even leave the lot without an approved loan and signed ALL the paper work required to sign if the loan was approved??? We were even given an interest rate and monthly payment before we left that we signed and agreed to!! This place is SHADY no matter how you look at it! They even want us to drive AGAIN with my daughter to bring them back the truck and pick up our car!! Um, sorry but yall messed up the loan and everything, you can get your truck and bring us our car since all yall did was LIE from the start! Im not subjecting my 8 month old to another 7 hour round trip and $200+ in gas AGAIN for this horrible company! If you are military like we are, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! THEY WILL TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!!!!!

If I could give this place a zero I would. We recently bought a car from here and not only is the car a piece of crap, but the employees are even worse. They do not care anymore once you drive off the lot. The pictures online are just to get you there and then they change things/ modify the vehicle after the pictures are taken. The shop they send you to( East Little Creek) to get the car worked on while under their warranty falsifies their paperwork so always make sure to get the paperwork and then look it over. They will dispute everything with you, no one is ever there to fix the problem, no one returns your calls. I promise you stay clear. I read the reviews and should have listened. Its funny somehow all the bad reviews disappeared. I gave this place a chance and now Im out extra money for having to get the vehicle worked on. They ran me around until their warranty ran out and now its on me. SHADY!!!!
