Last year in May I came to Bike Beat with a bike I had bought at Walmart. The staff at Walmart refused to put my bike together for me after purchase so after some research I contacted Bike Beat and they were able to quickly put my bike together within a week for a great price. Ever since then my bike has been running smoothly and I am extremely satisfied with the work they did. I ride my bike to work every day and for leisure as well! In July of last year I actually had a problem with my tire due to riding over something sharp I believe. I was in the area of Bike Beat and I dragged my bike over there and explained the problem. I dont exactly remember what the employee I talked to told me, but he was able to quickly identify and fix the problem and get my bike good as new. The staff is extremely reliable, knowledgeable, and polite. I definitely plan to go to them with any bike questions or concerns in the future.

I give Contes on Laskin Road a 5 star on all levels. I had an Old Univega Cromoly frame that I wanted to be converted to a 3 speed Road Bike. I had all the components to complete the job and initially took it to BIKE BEAT right up the road. BTW DONT go there Tim and the crew have limited skill. I was told because it was a Mountain bike frame "It cant be done". Tim took 2 weeks to get back to me after dropping the bike off, only to find out he was incapable of doing the job. He also stated the bike may be a good candidate for a single speed, but hed have to get back to me again. He never did..Do yourself a favor go see Jeff and Tyler at Contes bike shop , their reasonable prices, communication, customer service and skill set is unparalleled. Me and my fabricated Univega are now ONE. Tray

I have had good service at other bike shops in the area here was way above the service in any business I have ever been in. I thought I had to have two tires and tubes and might have to leave my bike for days since the weekend was near. Instead I was treated like an old friend! If I had a few minutes all that was required was a rear tube. Not only was it done faster and cheaper than I expected, I got a full explanation of the work. Didnt catch names but the tall man helped me and as we were finishing up a shorter man said he could check me out if I was in a hurry! I watched the tall man expertly pump a tire up and clip a front brake on a much fancier bike than mine in no time for no charge. I got just as good service! I have been telling all my neighbors about how pleased I am!

I bought my first bike there 3 years ago and had a very good experience. So, I came back and bought 2 more for my kids. I dont review often, but these people deserve 5 stars. My daughters bike was wrecked by her little brother 3 minutes after we got it home, rendering it unusable. It needed a new front sprocket. I took it back to the shop that night and they ordered a sprocket for us and had it shipped overnight, getting her back on the road the next day. Everyone at Bike Beat was super helpful and truly cared that my daughter got her new bike back ASAP! They cared about my daughter which is a huge deal for me. It all boils down to character and these people have it. Buy your bike here.

Just bought my first road bike from here and am in love! The staff was very friendly and open to helping a new-comer like myself (unlike other shops nearby...cough cough Contes). They were knowledgeable without having a condescending attitude and made me feel welcome. I will definitely be doing more business here, and highly recommend it to friends!

We went in to buy one bike and ended up buying two :) Mike was awesome! He helped us with everything we needed for the bikes and made sure the seats and handle bars were set up just right for us. Great Customer Service. If we ever need another bike, we will be coming back to Bike Beat because of this great experience.

Recently bought a Trek Time Trial bike from Aaron . After shopping around and talking to the wife, we determined that this was the place to buy a bike and make a good investment. This guy knows what to he is doing, professional and knowledgeable .I love my bike and cant wait race it this summer!

Usually dont do this.. But these people are very unprofessional. I entered the store and two workers sat in the back talking to each other staring at me while I browsed the store. Finally someone yelled and said what you looking for.. I didnt say anything and walked out.
