Great, fast, friendly and honest service. Took my bike there because Ive been having problems with the derailer gear. I live in Towson and bought the bike from Princeton Sports. Took it back 2 times and both times they said they fixed it but nothing has changed, it still wont get into the 3rd gear. Both times Ive taken it back it was still under their one year warranty and now it ran out, complete waste of my time. Instead of the wasting more time taking it back I decided to try to fix it myself. After multiple tries I snapped the cable. Im working in the bel air area right now and after reading some reviews decided to bring it here. Brought the bike in at around 10am I asked them to replaced the derailer because I wanted a new one, the cable line for the derailer, and I told them to replace the chain since its here. They were done and had it ready for pickup by 7pm. Test rode it in the parking lot and the gears changed like butter. Works better than when I had it new. Thanks Bike Shop for fixing my bike and not wasting my time. I definitely recommend this place. I NEVER write reviews but thought I should because of the experience I had with this place.

Ive been riding for over 30 years. I ride a lot of miles both mountain and road and am hard on my bikes. I started taking my bikes into the Bike Shop of Bel Air last year and they have been a great group of people to work with. The service is done on time and costs what they say it costs. In the one case where the repair was going to cost more money, they called me up and asked me if I wanted the work done. They even squeezed me in the same day when I had a problem that needed to be fixed prior to a race. Ive been in there probably a couple of dozen times now and have always found the staff to be very friendly and professional.

When picking my bike up from service, there was a charge listed that the cashier didnt know what it was. The cashier was the only employee in the store so he called the tech that performed the work. The store employee told the tech that a customer had a question about the service work. The employee handed me the phone to ask about the line item. I was not disputing the charge but rather trying to understand - the employee made me feel very uncomfortable. Pretty unprofessional. The work was done correctly, but I wouldnt recommend the shop.

I was stranded 10 miles from the shop and Carl immediatly jumped i my car to come for the rescue. When in the shop, he took me under his wing to shop me some needed technical tricks so I could be confident on the road and hep myself in times of need. Missie and Carl, are exceptional people that only want the best for ther clients, I have never experienced anything like it. This is customar service on the next level! I recommend everybody who wants to find a shop where good advice and excellent service is prior to go here!

I had purchased a bike from another store and I had problems with it working correctly. They could not help me and were very rude. My neighbor recommended The Bike Shop of Bel Air and they quickly fix the problems. I later found out that I purchased a scratch & dent bike that was pieced together with odd ball parts. If you are in the market for a bike, go to these guys and save yourself a lot of headaches.

After having some problems at another local bike shop I took my Trek 4300 to the Bike Shop of Bel Air. I was glad that I went to Missie and Carl they greeted me at the door, they took a look at my bike and Carl walked me through the adjustments that I had done. Missie told me at after you had the best no other shop matters and after my visit I can truly say the Bike Shop of Bel Air is the BEST!!!!!!!

Tried to get info about shoes and "had" to speak with the only person on the floor...the owner. She acted like I could not look around or browse and was terrible at being a sales person. Not likeable at all and again I felt like I couldnt browse the store. Get someone a little more eager to help the customer instead of interrogating them!! Wont visit again.

It is evident that the owners Missie, and Carl are respectful of your needs and the staff including John and Steve are great hard working employees with a passion for the sport. What a great local shop. These folks really know what theyre doing. Theyve done numerous repairs on my bike and every single one has been terrific. And, if that wasnt enough, the technicians spent 2 hours with me showing me how to fix a flat tire! These are folks that really care about their customers. Great place!

I met Nick, the assistant manager, at a fitting seminar in Maryland. While he seemed to already really know his stuff, he was nonetheless very focused on improving his craft. Finding people to go beyond the status quo in this business can be difficult. Nick is a rarity and is a real asset to his shop.
