Took my daughter to look for a bike with foot brakes because she cannot use hand controls. The young lady at the shop greeted us as soon as we walked in and pointed out all the bikes in their stock that meet our needs. She was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about each bike we looked at, had my daughter test ride one around the parking area. She said they buy used bikes and take them in trade, they thoroughly prep and warranty all bikes they sell. Their bike prices are comparable to what I see on Craigslist, but without the trouble of having to connect with the seller, and with the bonus of not needing to find a buyer for the old bike. The final benefit - for comparable money to a cheap bike from Walmart, I can get a quality bike at this shop that will hold up much better from a seller that can maintain it if needed. And if you want a Walmart bike even cheaper, they have a lot of those as well. We definitely will be going back soon to do a bike trade!

Just got a bike from a private seller and it needed some new tires. I came to the Buckroe Beach Bicycle Shop and the gentlemen there were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Very military friendly as well. I had already bought new inner tubes for my bike but wasnt sure if I had the right adapter for the presta stem so they gave me one free of charge! I will definitely be returning for any future purchases or help.

The so is great, and they have some really neat custom bikes. The good service and knowledgeable staff is far and above a sporting goods store. The only thing that keeps them from 5 stars is that they are not always open when you would expect.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff! The guy and his wife knew everything about bikes. The prices are very, very reasonable and they just keep it real. Good, informative conversation while your bike is getting serviced!
