Always a great experience when I go to the shop. I finally pulled the trigger and bought a nice bike. They were not pushy at all, and were very helpful and informative. Because of the personal interaction, I dont mind purchasing accessories from them. Sure, you might find something on the internet a little less expensive, but the "home town welcome" feeling you get from the staff is unbeatable. I bought new road bike tires there this week, and surprisingly, they are $10 cheaper in the store than on the manufacturers website! Plus, if you buy the bike from them, you get life-time free tune-ups. Cant get that from the internet!!

Ive been fortunate to have had several good bike shops and mechanics to rely on over the years and in several places around the greater D.C. area. I stumbled upon Patuxent Adventure Center a couple of years ago and theyre on another level. Its the only place I go now for service on my road and trail bikes. The staff here is top notch; they explain more about diagnosed problems and their solutions than any car mechanic Ive worked with and their prices are reasonable. To me, having a great and trusted shop to rely on is gold. I really appreciate these guys.

I have always have a pleasant experience at the bike shop. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to please the customer. There is no pressure on any type of sale and you can shop around and relax and chat with staff. As per return customer care, you always feel like your visiting a friend. New saddle install and fitting. Russ did an amazing job. Ended up putting new stem on as well to optimize fit. Rode 26.5 miles yesterday and have never been so comfortable on the bike. Incredible job.
