Best of the best ... The guys in the Arnold Bike Doctor know their business, know how to find the appropriate bike for you and your budget and will stand behind their product! I have had the opportunity to buy a number of bikes for myself, my kids and recommend friends to go to Bike Doctor and and NEVER had cause to pause. Great service, fair pricing and a selection of bikes to meet my needs is what you will find when you visit the shop. From cruiser bikes for the kids through the most elite race bikes around you will either find them on the showroom floor or the team can have it delivered and built in days! It is always a fun stop to see what new fun stuff the staff has found to enhance your biking experience as well. If you are a more serious "racer type" they have the Speed Studio where you can see some of the latest in lightweight go fast bikes located two doors down. Also make sure to make an appointment for to have your bike fit you. This is not hocuspocus but cutting edge state of the art equipment to ensure your new bike is fit perfectly to you and not you fitting a bike that someone says "will become more comfortable as you get used to it". Join their Facebook page as well as get on their mailing list as the sales they have are off the charts as well ...

All staff from lowest level to the owner are very approachable, and helpful without being pushy and just generally seemed interested in me as a customer and it didnt matter that so far I have only purchased a small-ticket item. Their service dept has taken care of me adequately as well. In my 20+ yrs of cycling and using local bike shops of many varieties and locations I can tell you this is typically not the case. Most are really only interested in you as a customer if you are there to purchase a large dollar item like a bike, or they dont want to be bothered with technical questions about something you already have etc. That or the chain-type bike stores often staff them disinterested folks who are punching the clock on their way to better opportunities (or not). These guys are the exception to that typical experience. The speed studio also seems very cool and looks like they offer the best in fitting and gear for triathlon/ time-trial bikes if that is your thing.

I went in with bicycle trouble after flying into Baltimore from Oklahoma City geared up for a cross country tour. Some parts had fallen out of my box unknowingly, and they said I would have to wait four days for them to fix it. Its more than obvious the employees lack business sense seeing as this was a "right now" opportunity with someone who has the money to spend on repairs and more. I am very thankful they recommended that I hobble my bike down to Pedal Pushers. Bike Doctor said, "Your bicycle is in total disrepair... and its going to be a lot of labor." Both statements I knew to be completely false especially since the sixteen year old at Pedal Pushers was able to get necessary parts and put it together in 15 minutes. This place is heavily invested in marketing and appearing to care about cyclists. All I found was disappointment. Pedal Pushers, which is a mile and a half away, has much better customer service.

Bike Doctor – Arnold is my bike shop of choice for all purchases and bike services. I worked closely with the Bike Doctor – Arnold’s highly professional staff to build two custom-made titanium bicycles. They provided expert advice through both builds to deliver the perfect bikes, at the right price, for my riding style. I always consult with them first on bike purchases and repairs, upgrades/replacement, and accessories. They provide prompt feedback and identify options that I would not have otherwise considered. Bike Doctor – Arnold’s mechanics are fast, thorough, and professional. Since I started using them as my LBS seven years ago, I have had nothing but blue chip service. I would without a doubt recommend Bike Doctor – Arnold to anyone looking to purchase a new bike, apparel, component upgrades/replacement, or repairs.

I recently purchased a Cannondale Trigger 3 from an area Bike Doctor. I was having some issues, so I called my local Bike Doctor and asked if I could bring it in. The guy on the phone said to go ahead and they would take a look at it. I took it in and spoke with Tommy, he assured me that the problem would be fixed and answered all of my questions. Tommy kept me up to date with the progress and I never felt out of the loop. When I picked my bike up he explained the repair and reunited me with my bike. The customer service is top notch at this location. I am really impressed with the whole experience. I didnt even buy the bike from them and they treated me like I was a long time customer. If you need a new bike or service for your old one, these guys are top notch.

My bike was hit by a car so rather than take it to the Bike Doctor in Crofton, where I bought my bike, I took it to the Bike Doctor in Arnold because it was closer and the lady who hit me was able to drop the bike off. They needed to replace the front wheel and fender on my Trek bike. When I went to pick up the bike they had replaced it with a black wheel and black fender in the front the rear wheel was silver and the fender grey. They said they could not get the parts from Trek even though Trek still sells the bike. I asked them to please match the front and back fenders and wheels. After a week what I got back was cheap matching plastic fenders and different wheels. Not very happy after $260 in repairs. I wish I would have taken it to the Bike Doctor in Crofton.

Went in looking for a good value on a comfort bike for my mother in law. I live out of state but wanted an LBS for my MIL to go to if she had questions or issues. Im a long time bike mechanic, mountain and road biker and really liked this shop. Its clean and organized, with lots of people willing to help. We were able to get exactly the right bike at a good price. They adjusted it and had our new bike setup very quickly. It was done right, too! I walked away impressed with this shop. I put it in my favorites list so Ill use them anytime I need something for any bikes I have. (Turner, Canondale, etc) I dont write a lot of reviews but this place was worth it.

Bike Doctor Arnold is simply the best bike shop in the area. As a long time customer, Ive never been disappointed in ANY aspect of the service Ive received there. Whether Im purchasing a new bike, being fit on an old one, dropping bikes off for a tune, or even the occasional "OMG I HAVE A RACE TOMORROW AND MY DERAILLEUR TUNING IS WHACK", they have consistently provided above and beyond service.. even for those last minute moments of panic before a race (they have hooked me up with the "emergency tune" twice now without even raising an eyebrow). The staff there is knowledgable, amicable, and professional. You wont be disappointed.
