Very rarely do you walk into a store that sells video games and are you treated like you are a customer. The staff here are friendly and like to talk shop. They are well versed in the gaming news. both current and retro. What truly makes PNT Carytown different is the stock of Retro games. One of the largest in Richmond. If they dont have something, just leave them a name and they will call when it comes in. This store goes the extra "mile" to cater to customers willing to make a deal. The Owner, is also very active in local charities and many of the sales and promotions help support these charities. It is good to see a company willing to give back and be a supportive part of the community.

I love the idea of having a retro game place combined with newer choices tucked away in a cool spot in Carytown. Though this store is physically smaller than the other two PlaynTrades, Bob has worked hard to make it the best of the three. They always have a good selection and will go the extra mile to get whatever game you want. The staff is knowledgeable and seem to truly enjoy what they do. Bob has gone out of his way several times to give me a good deal because he knows Ill be back in. Mike is always super nice and knows the store inside and out. The only other store I visit is the Midlothian location..Gamestop has met its match.

This place has horrible customer service and they are over priced. I had reserved a game (Super Mario World 2 Yoshis Island) for months and went to the store to browse their games. I overheard another patron ask if they had the game, and they state "Well since someone never picked this one up you can have this copy. WHAT!!! I had been waiting for months for that game. I thought the whole point of a reservation was so the next person in queue gets the game. These people are very hit and miss with their modern games as well. I came for a new launch of a game and their "shipment" had not arrived.

Amazed at the selection for games and consoles from my childhood! Able to find the system and games and controllers for a low price, will travel from Powhatan to this store over even convenience of shopping online for retro games. The ladies at the counter were extremely friendly and helpful and it was obvious they enjoyed their work. Really impressed!

Bob, the owner of B+P, just handed me a replacement controller after learning that another wasnt functioning. He seems to really care about his customers and employers, and his store has a great retro vibe. If youre in need of vintage video game stuff, skip GameStop for something friendly and local. Great selection of modern retro and true retro games and systems. Have a program where you can put your name down for a specific game youre looking for and they will call you when it comes in. And they sell older used systems at an extremely affordable price.

Thanks to my Xbox 360s laser burns I had to get new copies, thats until I went to Play N Trade and got my disc resurfaced for $3. I also brought in my second game and got it repaired for only an additional $2. $5 for repairing two games with laser burns? Awesome!

Really great gaming store! Have a lot of older stuff and some newer stuff. They sell art and shirts made by local artists, and have demos of a few consoles (Dreamcast, PS2, SNES, Gamecube, etc) to play, as well! Staff was really nice to the customers, as well!

I always enjoy my visit at B&P. The staff are mellow and talkative and when I have a question theyre pleased to answer. My last visit I put in a request for a game Ive been looking for and they called me up a week later to tell me it arrived just then.

I traded in all of my old systems and games to get a few accerssories and new games. All I can say is awesome. The customer service there was incredible. I still even have a sore credit there to use later. Cant wait to go back and get some more games.

Really reasonable prices for retro games, some were worth more than prices, some less, but with retro you come to expect that. Great customer service and the salesman even cleaned some of my games and made sure they worked.
