I always use the Batavia store (never been to the Brockport one) I have bought and sold many games here, every single time I buy or sell I look at Game Stop down the road. Game Players Unlimited is always cheaper for purchasing and offering more for my used games. Anywhere from 10% and more in your favor wether you are selling or buying. You can get cash or store credit, obviously you get more store credit than you do get cash, same goes for all the places Ive been. They are always knowledgeable and most times I buy a game the salesperson will ask if Ive played it and if not explain what to expect. For example, Metal Gear Solid has a movie at the end that is quite long and you cant pause it so he made sure I knew, right before I beat the last guy (youll know when) get up, get some popcorn, go to the bathroom etc. then come back and finish killing him. So, basically the only three reviews NOT five stars are from the same person who revisits occasionally under different names (Awful S., Kevin Smith) Same story three times worded slightly different but no enough to make the suggestion its from different people.

To the consumers: Be careful with the practices that the store uses. The game store is using a technique called, "entrapment". They tell you about the product you are buying and most of their products dont work. Even though they promise you a refund at the time you are buying a product through them, such refund that they speak of is store credit and this is how they get you is by making you get another game or make you buy a more expensive game that 80% of the time doesnt work once you get home. It happened to me, got another game and still the second didnt work and hope that the consumer is aware of their practice. Dont fall for their refund policy and REMEMBER not ALL of their products work. This is how they make their profits. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and even the store is not recognized by the agency so be very careful when you make business with the store.

They have a considerably moderate to large selection of used games that makes finding the classics for your old gaming system a possibility without having to shop online. Gwen is an invaluable asset to this store as she is always pleasant and more than happy to answer any questions, making the experience of buying in-store a step above other options. Considering this, if Im going to purchase anything gaming related in person rather than online the only option on my mind is here, as I would rather spend my money with a locally owned business which needs that money for things such as employing individuals like Gwen than spending it at a national retailer such as Game Stop.

Paid 35.99 for a playstation 3 guitar hero guitar with strap and dogle connector. Ive been trying to connect it for hours and its not connecting at all. It keeps showing that its connected as 3rd player instead of first but still wont let me switch it to 1st or even work on the game. Ive had no prior bad experiences at the store so if I take it back, I sure hope I get my money back.

Fantastic store with friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Great prices on new and used merchandise, and a more than fair trade-in policy. Solid recommendations that are based on quality rather than profit, and personalized service that the chain stores cant possibly match.

They are great people. Love the store have been buying games and stuff from there since they opened. And regarding the man complaining about their return policy. It is clearly stated in their store as store credit only! So, its not entrapment

They have a great selection of movies both used and new. It`s a grate place to buy movies and games. the prices are cheap and quailty is good they have everything from old school consel games to the xbox 360 and ps3
