I went to GameStop in Leland on 3/1/15 and purchased a pre-owned Xbox 360, hard drive, and a pre-owned copy of Grand Theft Auto V. I was talked down to for not knowing the different 360 model and release years. I got home and hooked up my machine only to discover that the disc tray was broken and would not open. So on 3/2/15, I took the console and went to a different GameStop location (Sigmon Rd in WIlmington) and got a newer, better, and more importantly functional Xbox at a better price. I go home, hook everything up for the second time, only to find that the copy of GTA V I bought does not work. The disc is unreadable. I spent $174.85 at this GameStop location. Every penny of it was on broken merchandise.

Went to the Leland GameStop at 5:28pm March 20th 2016. Bought three used games. Got home and found that two of the game cases were empty. Tried calling the store and got no answer, swung by and they had just closed. Tried contacting them via email, Facebook and calling their customer support number, which Ive spent 45 minutes on hold (and still counting) and still havent reached anyone. Being the only video game store in Leland (besides Walmart) choices are kind of limited. I can forgive and forget the expensive prices, crappy trade in deals and limited selection. But the customer service you receive dealing with GameStop is why I will no longer be shopping with them as soon as this issue is resolved.

Been going to Gamestop for years. Walked in, perusing as usual, and found an item for 20% off the MSRP. When the cashier rang it up, she informed me someone accidentally left the wrong sticker on the item and the best she could offer me off MSRP was 10%, rather than honoring the sticker price. Needless to say, I left empty handed. I will start preordering and buying all things from Best Buy from now on. Gamestop should start owning up to their mistakes!

Boycotting Leland Game Stop. Went for help with Wii and Xbox. Prick at store said "is that all you got" I asked for help in a condescending voice he said he could not hook them up. I said there are cords behind the counter plugged in to the wall. He said" they werent for use." I got angry felt insulted and said WHAT EVER grabbed my stuff started to leave. Bought lots of games at Game Stop. Never Never Never again.
