I used to absolutely love this store, but now Im not so sure. We had a terrible incident with my dog getting groomed there. The first time she got groomed she looked amazing. The 2nd time was a terrible experience! We had specific directions on how we liked her groomed, which the groomer repeated back to me word for word... but when I picked up my dog she looked awful! They didnt follow my instructions at all. The barely shaved her at all, and the spots they did were all patchy and not blended well at all. We then called to complain, where the groomer then gave us lots of attitude and was extremely rude. He told us that apparently his manager told him not to follow our directions because it would be too short for our dog. Really? He then told us he would fix it for us for free. Fast forward a few days later I drop off my dog to get groomed. 20 MINUTES later I got told that my dog was ready. 20 minutes? Are you kidding me? Im not sure how the managed to make my dog look worse, but they did. Then I had to call the manager and take my dog back a 3rd time to get groomed! Luckily they finally got it right the 3rd time. Love this store, but would not recommend it for grooming.

I have been coming to this location for years sheerly for its convenience and close proximity to my home. Although, when I do come to pick up dog food/etc, I do my best to avoid a specific employee named Sam because of past experiences. I typically do not review online, although during my significant others last visit, she felt so ridiculed that I deemed it necessary. The appauling disrespect, aggressive intonation of her voice and belittlement of my wife by Sam was shocking. As a local business owner, I would never allow an employee of mine to treat customers in this fashion. I hope management can resolve the cancer within their store before they lose more customers.

Its a small location, so it has very limited selection. They dont carry the brand dog food I use. However, theyre saltwater fish section is WAY better than any other big box pet store Ive seen, it is clean, the staff is friendly and actually knows what theyre talking about, plus its in a very convenient location with excessive parking. I go elsewhere for dog food, but this petco does the trick for just about everything else.

This location is smaller than the other Manassas location that is now permanently closed. As a result, they dont carry the flavor of dog food (Canidae Wild Boar and Canidae Weight Management Chicken) that my dogs eat. Had to switch them to the Bison flavor, which they dont really like. I also cant find their dog treats at this location. Guess Ill have to start ordering online.

Not so impressed with the "new" layout. All 3 of my dogs eat different food. Of the 3, they no longer carry iams, and only have the tiny bags of small breed natures recipe grain free. Ill stick to chewy and petsmart.

Tyler is awesome! My dog has been groomed at this location a couple of times but has never looked as great as he did when Tyler took care of him today. Will be returning to see him!

Knowledgeable staff, good variety of supplies and fish, and it was a convenient location for dog obedience classes when I adopted my rescue.

I purchased 6 tetra fish from this location and they all died within a couple weeks. They do have a return policy that I did not exercise.
