Visited to pick up tropicals for second tank. Wife and I were picking fish. Upon making final choices and asking for assistance, young lady working dept was using cell phone while stocking; far from friendly and her 1st response was to say that ..if this is new tank..bring water sample and in a week we will give results. She pulls container from under a cabinet for us to take home. She hadnt even asked if tank was new. We explained we have had tanks for 20+ years and this tank wasnt new. She was haughty and we asked for help from another staff person. Hilarious that 2nd person comes over to say she is doing her job. We thank him for helping but we observed he has an attitude. He snapped at us both and bagged 30$ worth of live stock in SINGLE bags ..we felt dismissed.my wife asked me to return to this department to ask for extra bags... thats when second salesman then walked the bags to the door to ask her why she wanted second bags?! Some people who are not ready to provide customer service should not be working in those positions. To tag team and be completely disrespectful is unacceptable we now shop at Pittsford Petco and love it. Staff there; ask appropriate questions..give helpful advice and customer service is wonderful!

Dropped my dog off for a 1:00 app for a standard bath and groom......it had taken 1 hr. in the past , this time I was told 2-3 hrs.....ok.... Her face was all gunked up around her eyes, but that has always been taken care of in the past...she is 15. The groomer called me a couple hrs. after I dropped her off and told me she couldnt clean her face...come get her. I went to pick her up and not only was her face not done....her body was half cut!!! I asked the groomer why she didnt finish the job even though she had to leave the face alone, and she said...., well since I wasnt getting g paid for her....I have other dogs that I needed to get done !"......SHE is the one that offered not to charge for the appt....NOT me! I fully expected to pay and to tip.....how to you send a dog home half groomed?.....I had an appt just like everyone else that day!!!! They obviously over booked and the groomer on duty was young and inexperienced.....if she wasnt going to groom her than why did she have her for 2 1/2 hrs???? She simply ran out of time and didnt want to do my dog! DO NOT GO TO THE PETCO IN HENRIETTA! !!!!

Petcos website was having a sale on a pet anti-stress collar. Normally $15.99, it was on sale for $5.15. Due to a last minute trip and not being able to order it online, I drove to Petco in Henrietta. I picked up the same anti-stress collar and went to checkout. It rang up as $15.99. I pulled up the Petco website and showed the guy the sale price. He would NOT match their own website! He said the best he could do was 50% off, other wise the store would be losing money. The difference was only a couple bucks, so I ended up purchasing it at $8. Then, I got curious, so I called up the Petco in Greece. I asked if they would match the online price of $5.15. They told me absolutely since it was the price marked on the website. Hmmmm...... Its not that Im mad about $3, its the fact that they wouldnt even honor the price from THEIR OWN website. Easy way to lose a customer.

Terrible store. The employees are completely unhelpful. The guy in the fish dept sold me a tank with two goldfish. I specifically asked if they were alright to go in right away or should I wait a week. He told me they were fine to put in right away and a day later they were dead. I bring them back to the store and another employee tells me the tank should have been set up a week in advance. I will never shop here again.

I have been to both Petco and their competitor....you know who I mean. Petco, particularly this location is heads and tails above the other place. They introduced themselves, were professional, kind, and compassionate to my elderly dog, who can be very grumpy. They took time not to stress him out, gave him extra love, and did a GREAT job!!! High Paw Five!!

I brought my dog in for a cut and the groomer basically shaved to the skin. My dog had cut marks all over and the groomer did not even apologize or say anything as to why they did that. I spoke to management and that was just pointless. I will never ever take my dog or purchase anything from that store again. I recommend to NEVER GO TO THE PET GROOMERS!

I was able to find what I needed but one of the associates just seemed to follow us and asked more than once if we needed anything. I appreciate being acknowledged&helped especially if I need it or ask but if I tell you Im all set twice stop following me&dont ask again. I got my dog food&cat food&left, it was just uncomfortable.

Me and my son went to Petco to get new fish for our fish tank and the staff member Joe was working in the fish section. Joe was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. It was nice to go to a store and speak with someone who knew what they were talking about.

I used to take my 2 dogs here for a bath an have there nails done. Now they dont have staff an they tell ya they can get you in in 4 to 5 day? I now go to the one on Monroe ave its too bad the new management cant get it together?

Half the equipment in the fish tank kit i bought my son dont work. Guess we wont be buying fish for his birthday. Thanks so much assholes. This place is the Walmart of pet stores, u get PRECISELY what you pay for.

Had my Sottish Terrier in for a grooming first time. Our regular groomer would not cut him the style I like. So I took him to Petco, trimmed him up perfectly and my dog has been happier ever since!
