Purchased 300 crickets from Petsmart in Henrietta, NY on Friday October 7, 16 and by the morning of Sunday October 9, 16 over 170 were dead. I called Petsmart in Henrietta, NY and they said they could do nothing for me. They inducated it must have been my fault not theirs because they have not had any significant loss in their crickets. I have never had a loss of more than 10 to 20 crickets when I buy from The Reptile Guys in Gates, NY or Country Max in Henrietta, NY. I always buy in bulk of 200 to 500 and have very little loss. Even when I ordered a 1000 online I had an under 5% loss over the feeding period of about 5 weeks. I just had 200 crickets in the same container and didnt lose any. The container was cleaned and new egg crates were put in. They all are fed the same thing, Flukers cricket food and water crystals. A 57% loss is rediculous, especially in one day. For them to not even be willing to make an effort to live up to their satisfaction commitment is shameful. My business will now be going elsewere, even if it means paying more money.

I brought my dog there last weekend to be groomed. Usually I spend about $40 to get him groomed. To my surprise when I pick him up they tell me it is $60. The lady at the register was like we charge more on the weekends. That didnt seem right to me, but I didnt want to complain because they were so busy then. So I called during the week and the manager told me that because my dogs hair was so long she had to cut it twice there for had to charge me more. I have an English springer spaniel, his hair was long just like any dogs hair would be if you were taking it to be groomed. He wasnt extra dirty or matted at all.. It would be nice if staff informed customers on the price of a groom if they are going to just decide out of the blue to charge you and extra $20. The price increase did not seem accurate to me and Ive never had to pay that when I have brought him in hairy before. Needless to say I will not be bringing my pet back to petsmart again.

There has been some controversy over Banfield Pet Hospitals but this one is owned by Doctor Buck and she does a very good job. I NEVER had a problem here. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and ALWAYS helpful. Doctor Buck will not hesitate to help you any way possible, even helping me with an emergency just as she was ready to walk out the door and getting me an appointment first thing in the morning the next day. They go above and beyond and I would recommend them to anyone. They care more then anyone I know! Unfortunately I had to move to another state and had to go to another Banfield and they were HORRIBLE, never called me for rabies for my dog, letting him go out of date, not calling about needing a checkup and all new set of shots, but still taking my money. But even though I moved, I still got a Christmas card from Dr Buck and her team. Price is right and service is amazing! I Definitely recommend them!!

Horribleeee grooming department. Not only have they knicked my dogs paws on several occasions, but the last two times Ive brought him in for grooming they havent cleaned his ears (but say they did on his "pawgress" report!). When I spoke to the manager (Jody) she made excuse after excuse, and even tried telling me that my dog "probably shook his head after the bath bringing all the wax up". Oh really, did the the shampoo make all the hair in his ears magically grow back too? Seriously?! Thats the best you can come up with? Beyond their laziness, the thing that really concerns me is that they they lied about doing work they did not do. Then, when confronted, continued to lie some more. I will definitely not be bringing my dog back here, and suggest anyone considering their grooming services think twice before trusting them with your pet!

Id made an online appt to have my shepard groomed,approx 2 weeks in advance.When we showed up, I was told that there was no appt made, and that they were busy, nothing they could do, now Im watching 2 other groomers standing there doing nothing, there was only one other dog there! Whats worse is the mngr of the dept came out and told me the same, so now there are 4 people standing there, with the one dog, and theres nothing that any of them could do? Then another woman walks in with her dog, they told her that they didnt have her scheduled either! Ironically, shed made an online appt, for the same time that I had, but they couldnt find either of us! They never tried to reschedule, and were rather rude! My first, and last time dealing with their grooming dept..

They used to have a bird on display... Bebe. The bird was not banded so I informed the manager that it was ILLEGAL to keep a bird on display when it was not banded. The bird was locked behind bars and plexiglass. Every time I went in I complained and they said, "thanks" Finally months and months went on and the bird started plucking all her feathers out due to stress. I told them, "not only do you have an illegal bird on display but now shes plucking due to stress." Still they did nothing. I think finally they took the bird off display when she plucked a bunch of her feathers and didnt look good anymore and Im not sure but I think I heard that she died. Nice Job PetSmart!

I actually just dropped my 3 dogs off last Friday evening and picked them up Tuesday the day after memorial day. All of my dogs smell like there pee and one of them which is a cockerpoo is completely white looks like she has pee in her fur. Have to give them all a bath called to let them know how unsatisfied I was with that part and they said it was very busy this past weekend and was tough keeping up with pets. Other than the pee situation all was well. Just dont like the fact that the pee wasnt cleaned off before I picked them up so how often did they clean the "hotel" or let the pups out to go potty. :(

1. They were out of tbe 40# bag of pine based litter. So, we had to settle fir the smaller bag that was only $1 less. Someone said they come in Tuesday, but my brother woud not be with me then to mive the bag. 2. A dog was incessantly barking the entire time we wew in the store. 3. This stpre automatically denies my credit card. The transction is not re acing the credit crd company. Yes, I called them. So, I ceased doing business with Petsmart. I was ony in the store because my brother who does not drive wanted fo go there.

The grooming salon staff can be friendly, but that depends on the day! It is impossible to book at a time you need it AND they just keep increasing their prices - $45 for one Pomeranian who isnt even 5-lbs? Are you kidding me? Sorry, there are places with better customer service skills and understand when you are cannot make an evening appointment (especially when YOUR availabilty stinks) because you have a job that you cannot just leave!
