2 Nasty , Dispectful Petgrooming female workers , apparently reflective of their training , dedication , Character and Lack of motivation to Provide good Customer service , i brought my dog in today to get his nails grinded which i have done for the past 8 months without any issues when today these unskilled , impatient workers decided that because my dog would not just be docile that they therefore could not do his nails , and not only that they had the nerve to tell me that i could not bring him there as if he had violated some rule or had bitten someone , reminder the other female workers had been doing his nails for months ! i was so disgusted that i told the " manager " who apologized for them when they are the ones who should have been apologizing . I am not sure what that manager will actually do , i dont have that much confidence at all , i plan to contact the Corporate office as a follow up , perhaps they will take it serious about losing a Customer . I am questioning whether to patronize that store , and definitely will not take my dog to grooming . I only gave 1 star because i otherwise could not Post my review .

I have been going to Petsmart for years and normally have a wonderful experience. However, the other day when I came in I was looking for a specific item that I desperately needed for our sick dogs and the shelf showed it was empty. The co-worker that was assisting me said to go up to customer service to see if they could look it up to see if there might be more somewhere else in the store. So when I asked the lady at customer service, she said I could try the Massapponax store but they probably didnt have any more. As a former retail employee I know that you can look inventory up because this has been done at Petsmart before and an employee went and found my item in the back last time i was in. I asked her to check their inventory and she said that even if it was back there, it was probably in with some other boxes of stuff. Then didnt even check for me. I didnt have the time to drive to Massapponax, so I took my business elsewhere. I cannot remember the girls name but Im not impressed with the customer service that was displayed the other day.

Was buying all my fish, plants, tanks and supplies from Petsmart until I took in a Placo that had become just to big for our 75 gallon tank (both from Petsmart). We wanted the Placo to have a new home where he would be taken care of and loved. They said they dont take fish back that have out grown their tank, and to try Petco. Well guess what, Petco took him, placed him in a clean tank on display. They will be the ones Ill be going to for now on for all my fish tank needs, and will be telling all my friends how Petsmart turned us away when in need of finding a new home for our beloved Placo. He will be missed, but talking to the staff at Petco, I know he will find a new and loving home. Thank you Petco.

I took my yorkie in for grooming. This is the first and last time I will do this. I usually take care of it myself but didnt have time with the holidays. I get a call from the groomer letting me know that my dogs lip was cut and would require stitches. The vet followed up with another call that my dog would need to have a stitch or two. After my husband picked our dog up and I got home I see that they literally shaved the hair off ONE leg!!! Look people....Im not a picky person....but damn....maybe give more training....why shave one leg when I didnt ask for a hair cut on his body?!?!?!?! Do it yourself folks and save your money and pet from the agony!

My daughter and I were driving from Long Island to New Orleans when the air conditioning broke. The temperature outside was 93. We had the cats in carriers and the one cat started panting heavily with his tongue hanging out. We stopped and this store and asked for help. Beth came to our rescue! She helped us cool the cats down and get them into a crate where they would have more air. She even helped us repack the car so that we could get the crate in. Beth is our hero! She helped save our cats! Petsmart is very lucky to have her as an employee! Thank you Beth!

I think the previous review is a bit harsh; Banfield might be a rip off, but most locals know the dozens of other animal hospitals in the area anyway. The actual store itself is always clean (and I have seen PetSmarts that were not), and when I bring my pets to the grooming salon, they always handle my animals gently and do a wonderful job, and they are always very polite and friendly with me while I wait. I wouldnt go to any other grooming salon.

Staff was disturbingly unconcerned about the flea killer for cats (Sentry brand) having major class action lawsuits against it for its dangerous and sometimes lethal problems pet owners have discovered from using it on cats. They were reluctant to give me a refund unless I joined their club. Add to that inflated prices and a lot of bare shelf space. They have not earned anyones business.

My kitten was attacked by a dog. Bleeding and dying in my arms. The refused to take us saying that they dont do emergency visit and I would have to make an appointment. Never will I be a patron of any corporation that boast proper animal care, but will refuses to help in emergency situations.

Staff has always guided me in the right direction for whatever my needs may be.my wife just got a Yorkie and went to then for help on all of our new babys needs.they hooked me up with a coupon booklet that covered everything I needed and saved me a pile of money..thanks again

Second pet smart I have been to in town today.. BOTH stores have had the tank stand we need... yet BOTH stores had opened boxes with BROKEN pieces falling out... and we were told you can order it online, but you have to pay shipping ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Its a clean place with a good staff. Its a comprehensive place for pet supplies from fish to fowl and all sorts of fuzzy mammals. I particularly like their fish department, & their knowledgeable fish experts.

I always come here to get food for my dogs and for their grooming services. Its set up very well and they are always well stocked. The grooming staff are well trained and good with all types of dogs

It is pretty far back from the main road, but once here, this is a decent store. It is convenient if on a road trip with your fur baby.
