This store gives TMOBILE a bad name. I have the Note 7 and we all know that Note 7 has been on recall. I checked the IMEI on my phone and it showed that my phone is one of the phones that is affected by the recall. I called the store several times to get information about when they would have the phones back in stock. I was told different things each time I called. One girl told me that they would receive them today 9/21 and I can call in and speak with the manager but its up to the manager if he could hold it for me or not. I called another time and was told that he does not know when they will get the phones in and that they are not able to hold them its fist come first serve. I went in today to exchange my phone and I asked if they can transfer everything in my phone to the new phone like they always do but I was told that they will not be able to because the Note 7 should not be on or used and that they did not want the phone to blow up in the store. So I had to step outside and do a backup first. After I was done I went back in and this time there were several people in the store and the other employees were helping the other customers transfer their information from their phone to the new phone. I asked the employee who told me he couldnt do it why the other customers were able to do it and I couldnt. He said "they arent supposed to do it" but they were doing it anyway. After being there for almost 2 hours I was told that I would not be able to exchange the phone because I had to pay my bill in full first. My payments are scheduled to be automatically drafted out of my account on Friday but that wasnt good enough. I tried to explain to the idiot that the reason why Im exchanging my phone is because its a RECALL its not because I want to exchange it. If FORD put out a recall on their cars and a customer comes in they will not tell their customer that they have to pay their car payment first. I dont think they understand what a RECALL is and why there are recalls. They never offered to call customer care to check their policy either. I came home called customer care and was told that what I was told at the store was INCORRECT and they were very embarrassed and apologetic about the whole situation. Tmobile as a whole is not a bad company at all but the tmobile store in West Jordan @ Jordan landing definitely need to train their employees more and make sure they are aware of their policies and are all on the same page.

Mad props to Jacob and that other female working in the store today! Your leadership skills are out of this world! Life is funny... A $50 charge can be waived right in front of your face for a gentleman without approval but " the $25 SIM card fee could not be waived without a manager approval" Customer Loyalty at its best. I dont know who to thank, Your manager or your parents! This is all sarcasm if you have not figured that out yet. I hope that maybe this hits home just a little so that the next time you have a customer that comes in on Mothers Day asking for a replacemt SIM card for a line that was on a military suspension but being paid for for the last 9 months you dont say there is nothing you can do. Thank goodness there is a gentleman in the West Valley store who has compassion and would take the time to put himself in that other persons situation and acknowledge that not only is the contact between her and her son very important but that same son has a baby girl with CF (my granddaughter) is very important just in case he needs to make contact with someone regarding her care and well being. Thank you again Jacob and your little female sidekick. Maybe you were saving your random act of kindness for another day or maybe you dont even know the meaning of that phrase. My guess would be the latter of the two. If you see this please take the time to make a phone call if needed to help someone out. Dont let someone walk out of the door without giving it your all.. it could be you one day... and that one day possibly could have been avoided if you did the right thing for someone today.

I dont speak cell phone and came in to this location for what Im sure they thought was a quite simple thing...I had a (very) old phone and wanted to transfer my number, service, etc to a newer device. Kyle helped me and I really cannot thank him enough. He told me I simply needed to take the SIM card from the old phone and put it in the new one. Easy enough. Although I know I could have done that (or could I?... read on) Kyle easily removed my SIM from the old device and then went to open the SIM tray of my iPhone 4s. He worked for over 5 minutes trying to extricate the old SIM which had somehow become lodged. (I am certain if I had tried to do this at home I would have broken the 4s) When he finally got it out he spent additional time carefully shaping the SIM I wanted in the iPhone so it would not get stuck again. He didnt get paid for this, and spent considerable time doing this kind act of service. THANK YOU SO MUCH KYLE! You have no idea how much your customer service meant to me!

Ive been bouncing around between carriers these last few years and havent been able to find something that really worked for me. There was always something wrong with whatever carrier I had, and Ive been with them all. T-Mobile has been a breath of fresh air. I have to say that I was a little skeptical, bit T-Mobile has been the best! And I think that my favorite part was the customer service. I mean, you go into a cell phone shop thinking that some lame 19 year old kid is going to be trying to sell you on the most expensive phone they have. That was not my experience with the guys at T-Mobile. Kyle Brown helped me and he actually HELPED me. He listened to what I needed and what I was looking for and then made several recommendations, going over the pros and cons of each one. It was such a great experience. I highly recommend T-Mobile and because I cant speak for the other locations, I recommend the Jordan Landing store.

Went with my dad to upgrade my brothers phone. The rep named Logan told us it would cost about $100 to upgrade with the sales tax and $30 down payment. I asked Logan specifically if there was any upgrade fee. He said no. Just the down payment towards the phone and sales tax. Logan seemed annoyed I would ask such a silly question. At the end of the transaction, Logan was going over the receipt and I noticed the $20 "upgrade fee". When I asked logan why he never mentioned the fee, even though I specifically asked, all he said was "oh I forgot" and he became obviously annoyed again. I called in right after to speak with a manager, Logan answered and said conveniently a manager was not in that night. Logan flat out lied to us , Id recommend he be more upfront with his customers. And maybe work on his sales skills a bit. We wont be returning to this store
