This place is ridiculous I recently went in for a bad battery was then sold a alternator per the worker at Auto Zone who told me my battery was fine , when I had the new alternator put in the battery was not staying charged which meant it was probably not the alternator, my mechanic told me to have them check my old battery before obtaining my $10 core fee. So I did, another worker ran my alternator 5 times and all 5 times my alternator PASSED. I spoke with a very nice gentleman named Victor who was very apologetic and very helpful. He said he would issue me a full refund, but I had to take the new alternator out and bring it back. I wasn’t able to do so that night, but was able to have this done the following day. Where I was approached by the most unprofessional rude "manager" who reminded me at least 5 times he was the manager. I explained my situation and my previous encounter with Victor. This manager WILL G. humiliated me by treating me as if I was lying telling me more or less it was my fault that Auto Zone didn’t make me buy this part and asked me to provide proof that it was the battery and that a new battery had been purchased. I told him I was never told that the day prior and asked him to call Victor and he could inform him of this, he then told me he didn’t care what Victor said because again he is the "MANAGER” Keep in mind this was my 3rd trip back to Auto Zone, my frustration finally hit its boiling point and I said to him Ive dealt with enough bullshit and to please just give me back my money as promised so I could be on my way. He then jumped on the opportunity to again remind me he was the "MANAGER" and he wouldn’t help me if I used foul language!!! I couldn’t believe it!!! I then asked the other workers who the GM was and what their corporate office phone number was no one would provide this to me, but pointed me to the door and said I could find it there??!! Really??? After this experience I will NEVER buy anything from AUTO ZONE and have asked my family and friends to do the same all have happily obliged.

I know nothing about automotive. I knew my cracked green glowing battery needed to be disposed of though. I call another company who directs me to this store. I take the battery in and I ask if I can dispose it with them. The employee says yes. So I turn to leave and he says, "wait you get ten dollars." He asks me my name and phone number several times at different computers and cant get a gift card or whatever to work. The line of customers behind me are starting to grumble. I ask his name and tell him look Ill be by tomorrow and get some windshield wipers and you can just take care of it then so you can help these customers. He shakes my hand and agrees. Next day I go in and hes not there. Instead Im met by another employee who looks at me from the get go like I am already making his day bad. I advise him of the above. Standing behind the counter he asks me what my battery looks like. Uhhhh? Black, with two silver posts, cracked with green stuff on it. He says well I have hundreds of batteries standing behind a counter that looks like it could maybe hold five max. He comes to the counter with the battery I brought them. Yes thats it. I ask him, "how many people do you get that come in and tell you they dropped off a battery and left so your guy could help your customers, like do people do this all day for ten bucks here?" He tells me that it happens a lot and asks for my drivers license. I begin to get it out, but then decide man what horrible customer service. I tell him keep his ten bucks and the windshield wipers I was gonna buy. On my way out for the first time in two days he decides to do something remotely customer service orientated. Sarcastically, "Thank you for coming in." I would consider Auto Zone as your last option if you have a choice even if you have to pay a few bucks more some where else.

I went to this Auto zone a couple of weeks ago to purchase and ignition coil for my Benz. I asked the gentleman where I could go to reset the check engine light once it was repaired. He ( Memo) stated just disconnect the battery for about 30 minutes. I did and my entire car started acting crazy. I took it to the dealership and the mechanic advised me that the parts I purchased were faulty. I went back to the same Auto zone and guess who was working yep Mr. Memo. I let him know what happened and he said these dont look like it parts. I said Really. He said well I need to see the mechanics receipt in order to make a decision. I grabbed my parts and left. Never will I go there or any other Auto zone again and I will advise my friends and family to go somewhere else.

Ive been coming to this location for several years, as its one of the closest parts shops to me. Waits can sometimes be long, but its usually not too bad since the queue is well-defined (unlike some locations with no queue area at all). Parts are nearly always in stock as well, and there a lot of fun accessories to browse while if waiting for something. The staff is generally quite pleasant as well; theyve never talked down to me or my wife, and theyre always helpful and thorough. This is definitely one of the better Autozone locations Ive visited.

I should slam this , but Im not, they usually have everything I need but I recently did a Caliper replacement and the clerk sold me the wrong side of the car, I literally took 8 weeks trying to figure out why the hell I couldnt get pressure. Even paid for a local mech to look at it, still didnt fix , when I explained to the mngr, he knew exactly what was wrong and hooked me up with some DOT 3 and the right Caliper. , I got home and fixed it in 30min. First time for everything, though hope there arent any more. Overall good team,

I went in to order a couple lug nut covers for my car. Id rather have them dropped off at the store and pick them up on my way past, since I go by that way on a regular basis rather than having to deal with the headache of deliveries to an apartment. Unfortunately, the cashier proved unable to properly enter the year, make, and model of my car even after repeated correction. I would rather have to worry about a package being stolen off my doorstep than deal with gross incompetence of that level.

Every time I have come here the staff have been super amazing and helpful.. They memorize my husband now because of how much he works on his rodeo. Haha haha. They are totally awesome here and I would definitely recommend this location over any other location. Oh and not to mention their knowledge for their cars.. I went to the location in West Jordan and it seemed like the very little I knew about my cars problem was more then they knew. And I am talking about the check engine light.
