This place is a joke. I went in to purchase a vehicle and thought that it was amazing that they got me financed through a credit union. However the salesman Travis Frye brought our one vehicle to show me and we took it on a test drive. I really wanted to see a few more choices and felt like it was a chore to him to show me other vehicles. He wanted me to buy the first one he brought out. Finally I talked him into showing me the Chevy Cruze that I liked. After test driving the car I went to exit the vehicle and noticed a golf ball sized dent and scratch in the driver side door. I voiced my concern about it and Travis said he could have the paint touched up. I went through with the sale but mentioned to the financing agent that I was katy about the dent and he told Travis to make sure to order the touch up paint. The car was also very dirty on the outside and had not been detailed. Travis told me to bring it in the next day to have it washed as the people who washed the cars were not in that day. I drove the car a couple of blocks to my house and had to clean the windshield in order to see the road after I cleaned the windows I noticed four rock chips in my windshield. As soon as I got home I called the dealership and they seemed annoyed but told me that when I brought the car in the next day to be washed they could fill them for me. A couple of them had already begun to spider. I took the vehicle in the next day and took my husband with me who was not with me when I purchased the vehicle. Travis came outside and didnt really acknowledge me as he looked very annoyed that I had brought my husband with me. He just said "where are your keys so I can get those filled?" At that point my husband again asked him about the dent and scratches on the car and Travis told him that he had already told me that he would order the paint and contact me to set up an appointment for the touch up. They filled the rock chips and brought the car around to the front saying that it was ready. Again my husband asked about the dent not just the paint touch up and Travis told him that he would get a quote for me to pay to have the dent pulled. We walked outside and went to leave when we noticed that they hasnt washed the car as I had been promised. It had been raining outside that week and the car was very dirty. I ended up having to pay out of pocket to take it somewhere else. I sensed up having to call to follow up on the paint touch up and have had a very serious lack of communication with this dealership since then. They have made me feel like a burden done the sale was finalized and when I asked to speak to the manager three different times he refused to speak with me and kept sending out Travis. This place is a joke! Never buy a vehicle here. If there are any problems with the vehicle after the sale you will be treated poorly. Travis told me that they were not obligated to do anything with the car after the purchase.

So disappointed with this dealership. My husband and I purchased a 2009 Dodge Journey back in October for about $17k, within three weeks the battery died and we had to buy a new one that is only sold at their dealership or Dodge for $150. A week later we had to take it in to get it serviced for a light that went on, found out it had three recalls. No problem, we got it all taken care of there. Three weeks later (November) as we were driving down Riverdale road, a bunch of steam starts gushing out of the hood of the car. Fortunately for us, we were just two minutes away from Young Subaru, who services Avis cars and pulled into their lot. To make this horrible and long story short, the radiator went out and now we had to pay $600 dollars to get this fixed. Sadly, this was not the end of it. We had to rent a car from them, while our "New" car was getting fixed and all the while feeling like we had just gotten ripped off and lied to because the car was sold to us under warranty and in great and working condition. After that issue was resolved, two weeks later we went in to talk to our sales guy at Avis to try and see what our options were. Almost four hours later, we drove out of their lot in a newer 2015 Dodge Journey with 16K miles. Here we are, just two weeks from getting this car and we just found out through its oil change appointment that the cars alignment is off and its only going to cost us $84 dollars to get it fixed. Of course, the "bumper to bumper" factory warranty does not cover this and these types of "normal wear and tear" issues are not be covered under the "Platinum" warranty that we purchased through Avis. Seriously!? Weve driven this car two weeks and its our fault!? Im so disappointed with the staff, service and company. Please DO NOT purchase your next car with these guys. Save yourselves some time, lots of money and headaches and shop somewhere else.

I was looking for a new pick up truck. Avis Car Sales in Ogden Utah had several vehicles that matched what I was looking for and the sales associate Trevor assisted me with finding the right truck for me and was able to get me a tremendous deal on a 2014 Chevy Silverado. I would highly recommend Avis Car Sales in Ogden Utah to any one who is looking for a new vehicle. The sales staff is highly knowledgeable and professional and always following up to make sure that I am not having any problems or issues with the vehicle that I purchased. Updated 9/29/15 Although the buying experience was a good one, I am not impressed with Avis Referral program. When I bought they said that if I referred someone there and they bought a vehicle that they would make a monthly payment. Thats all no other details or rules. So when one of my referrals bought a car, I, after several attempts finally received my check. However it was not even a full monthly payment. It was $200.00 short of my monthly payment. When I asked the sales associate about that he told me that they will only pay up to a certain amount. I asked why this was never disclosed to me before and he said that he had also just learned of this himself. Disappointed!!!!!!!!

Aj Harold is the man to see!!! I have had the most horrific experience with a used car place (DO NOT GO TO DUNK-LEE AUTO!!!!) I got a flyer in the mail so I decided to take a chance and look at Avis Car Sales website I called the pre-approve hot line and Aj Harold called me back he was awesome and told me to come on in. I went in looking for a car that was way out of my price range they were honest with me telling me they weren't sure if they could get me THAT car but still let me drive it! Given the fact I had absolutely NO credit established there entire team worked with me so hard to get me a loan and car that I LOVE! I feel like I actually paid a good price for the car I got and was actually pleased (which is hard to do!!) I went and got it checked out by my mechanic and he said it was perfect! Im really proud of them for working so hard and being so patient with me I would recommend them to anyone!!
