About three weeks ago I traded my boulevard c90 in for a yamaha fz1 that they had. I also paid some extra money to get the bike. My boulevard was in pretty good condition and I just recently had it serviced at another shop a few days before I brought it here. Everyone seemed very nice and trustworthy during the process. They owned the fz1 for approximately 2 and a half months before I came in. I only had the fz1 for three days before it broke down on me while I was going to work. Before I bought the bike they informed me that the battery died because they had let it sit but they bought a new one and put it in before I bought the bike. So we charged the battery and tired to get it to start but it wouldnt. We then looked at the regulator/rectifier, which was completely shot. So we ordered a new regulator and replaced the old one. But the bike still wouldnt run so we figured that the last thing that would have been causing problems would be the stator. We pulled the stator and it had broken pieces all over in the cup and was covered in crap. It took both my dad and I to get the cup off because it was so smashed down and stuck. So how the engine didnt seize up while I was riding is a miracle, because that would have ended horribly. It doesnt take a genius to realize that there was a problem with the bike and if that is the condition that this dealership sells bikes in then they do not deserve to be in business. If they were honest about their business and selling bikes then their techs should be going through the bikes they buy from back to front to make sure nothing is wrong, and if their techs think that its totally fine selling a bike in that condition or are content with not going through them then this place needs to hire some new workers. When talking to the GM he said that they will agree to nothing since they cant prove that they are the ones at fault for the problems with the bike but when I confronted him about the fact that they should have noticed this problem long before I came along since they owned it for almost three months he just danced around the statement and also refused to let me send pictures to him about the condition of the stator and it was obvious that I couldnt damage the stator to that degree in three days. So either they knew that there was a serious problem with the bike and didnt tell me, even though I asked them multiple times if there were problems, or they neglected to go through the bike. They would not agree to fix the bike for free and they would not even agree to look at the bike for free, I will not pay them more money to look at and fix my bike when it should have been done before I bought it. That was the first and last time I am doing business with this place and if you are in the market looking for bikes then dont come here, go somewhere that stands behind the fact that they may have messed up and wont screw you over. But The Edge Powersports is not a trustworthy Dealer.

Salesman was more concerned with other (older) people looking around rather than paying attention to the 21yr old who was literally about to drop cash on a new bike. I walked in, knowing that i was gonna get a bike. The only question was which one, and how was i going to be treated. Being treated like a real human being and not just some random customer is a big deal to me, considering i used to work at a dealership back in california. The sales guy in a hat, shorts, and a t-shirt with tattoos approached me, asked a few questions then walked away. Granted I was still browsing at this point. When it really came down to it i found a bike that i was stoked on. A 2013 KTM 150. Ive loved the 150 ever since i got to test them with Motocross Action Magazine. Now it came to the real questions. I asked him how much. He said $3400. Pretty dang good price for what i was looking at. I then asked about financing, and what banks they worked with, while giving me a list of options, he kept looking at some older gentleman (in his 40s) who was looking at a dirt bike nearby. Before i could even get the words "lets talk deal" he completely walked away to go talk to the other guy who had been there a whole 20 seconds. Just because Im young does not mean Im not a serious buyer. I was literally there or 20-30 min trying to get help, and when i was ready to talk deal and pull the trigger on something, i was totally blown off. Congrats dude. You walked away from a customer who had just gone to the bank and had $2500 cash in his pocket, was ready to finance the rest, and was all ready to walk out the door with a bike. Instead you ditched me for a dude who was "just looking" and left the building. Thats cool. Ill take my business somewhere up north where i know ill be treated like a serious buyer.

My Wife and I visited The Edge Powersports today for the very first time. We were greeted and welcomed by a very friendly person at the reception desk. We were also greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable fellow motorcycle enthusiast by the name of Matthew Petersen. Matts obvious love and passion for powersports not only made our first visit enjoyable, but was extremely educational as well. Matt was very knowledgeable and took the time to highlight the key points and functionality of the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R in contrast to the competition. Additionally, Matt actually asked me to do the one thing that no other salesperson, in all the different dealerships weve visited (from Logan to St.Geoge & Park City to Tooele) even considered asking.... Matt asked and invited me to "Sit" on the "Super Duke" in order to enhance my personal shopping experience & understanding of this incredible motorcycle. I will very likely purchase at least 2 motorcycles for the 2017 riding season and the KTM 1290 Super Duke R will be on the "top of the list" period. We found "The Edge Powersports" dealership to be stocked and maintained extremely well. The staff were all very friendly, professional and made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. Bottom Line... It was Matts vast product knowledge and personalized service, in addition to the dealerships unquestionable commitment to its customers and product lines they represent made our first visit a "Game Changer" with regards to what Ill be riding in 2017 and where I now choose to buy it.... Bought an awesome 2016 701 supermoto from matt there and was always there to help. Unfortunately I got in an accident shortly after with a cow and seeing as I bought from them I thought I would go to them to get it fixed. Thats where I went wrong. After correcting the edge on several things they over looked that needed to be replaced (huge gash on rear wheel and tire that I had to explain to them 2x) I finally got the repair bill, only took them four times. After the bike was "fixed" I was too quick to take it back and put in my garage without over looking it. The next day I went out to see her and noticed yet that they had still neglected to fix parts on the bike. Upon my accident I slid forward into the handle bars bending the key and handelbars severely. The edge decided to bend the key back and give it to me and not fix the ignition/lock system on the bike (internals bent and hard to turn key, Spair key). Next I noticed that the rear brake light will not disengage probably due to them not assembling back properly. After not going anywhere with the service department over the phone they have me Brians email, Manager over Store, and i emailed him what was going on and pictures of bike. I have yet to hear back from him as I have emailed him multiple times. Due to winter I have set this aside hopping that someone would contact. Working at a Atv/mc parts store I have urged customers to stay away from the Edge and explained my story with them. Hopefully this helps your decision to choose elsewhere.
