While in store service was fantastic, this review will reflect negatively on this local store for the companys handling of an exchange of product through the mail. My previous review was a nice 5 star, so well see how they deal with online rep. I bought the jacket in store, but all they had was a small, and it fit well. But when I got back home 1600 miles away in Canada and started to ride, it was too tight across the shoulders, and sleeves pulled up too much. So I talked to a rep about an exchange, said yep fill out the papers send it in. I did that, tracking said they received it but US post didnt get a signature. When I called to see how my exchange was going, I was told it was received but it hadnt made it to the right hands so he put a message out to get it moving and I would get a call. 2 weeks later no call so I called in, and had to go through the same routine with the same response other than "if it was received we would of had it by now and done. So we probably didnt actually get it you should file a claim with post" But ya know what, Post delivered it to the address, and I have no claim. Awesome way to brush aside a customer while someone in your warehouse is a thief, and Im out a $200 Dollar Jacket (actually about 250 after exchange)

I went into cycle gear in Mesa yesterday to buy a jacket and some gloves. I just recently purchased my first bike and had no idea what I needed to look for to make sure I was riding safely and comfortably. Raul assisted me for almost the entirety of the 2 hours I was there and was quite possibly the best sales associate I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I had no idea what to look for when I walked into the store but Raul was experienced as well as knowledgeable and began pointing me toward the right jacket with a proper fit, which wasnt easy as Im 62 and 135lb. Raul was extremely patient with me. He even showed me multiple catalogs of jackets that he could special order which he assured would be the best fit for my particular build, but we ended up finding a jacket in-store that fit properly and I couldnt be happier with. Raul also had me try on some helmets to make sure I knew what to look for when purchasing one even though I had told him I would prefer to order one online. Whether youre just starting out or youre experienced on a motorcycle this store is the perfect place to go for any riding accessory. I will be giving them ALL of my future business.

places around me were out of kids motocross boots (at least my childs size) ....so I called Cycle gear today to ask if they carried size 2 kid boots... the person i spoke to was very nice and said yes and that it would be $80 (plus tax) .. my husband and i drove 45 min to be told that they had the boots but they were not $80.. and that no one would have told us that... i do not appreciate being lied to... (we were out of luck with the holidays coming up and no one else having them so we had to get more pricier boots then we wanted (were told) boots are nice.. but as far as honesty, loyalty and service.. i give 1 star...

Had this Cycle gear mount new tires and tubes. Went on a nice week long trip, and had a rear tire blow. On removal of the tube discovered the tube was pinched and caused a nice sized hole. Luckily I carry proper equipment for a road side tire change. Installation of the tube was not properly installed in a process to prevent this pinch in my opinion. I will be doing my own tube / tire changes for now on. I gave two stars only because I am sure my tire change job was give to some slacker that I can only hope has been fired by now. its a good thing I did not have an accident or injury.

Called in today about a battery. Had a few questions about the extended warranty that I had purchased. Guy on the phone seemed very put off that I was asking questions. Tried to give him the part number that was on the receipt but he cut me off abruptly and told me "just give the numbers from the battery." I ended up getting the information that I was looking for, but the guy was so rude that I will not be purchasing my new battery there. Cycle Gear needs to hire employees that have better customer service skills.

So I sat there with 2 Grand in my pocket. Nobody offered to help me. I was clearly shopping for some expensive things. I dont know much about motorcycle gear. Thats why Im looking at it and I was hoping to get some answers to questions. The employees inside were non existent. There were some outside talking about other peoples motorcycles. So I guess Ill be taking my money elsewhere. Since it doesnt matter to this shop.

Drove all the way from west Phoenix because they offered me a good price on a tire over the phone, find out that not only did they lie about how many tires they had, but the 1 damn tire they did have just so happen to be the most expensive. Congrats, no sale, and you lost a costumer who spends thousands on his bike and gear. And their selection is so horrible it might as well be a bicycle shop.

Love this place. They have a great selection of gear and staff is on point. Garrett is wonderful and even took care of a small issue I had with a pair of shoes, which wasnt their fault and am overly pleased with the service. He even had a new pair waiting for me in my size before I showed up. Will be going back again in a week or so to suit up my wife. Thanks again Garrett & Cycle Gear

I love this place! They went above and beyond with their customer service. I originally bought a helmet that was giving me headaches on longer rides. They really went out of their way to get me into the right helmet. Ive talked to quite a few of the people who work there (Brian, Martin, and another) and they have been very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend shopping here!!

I called this store looking for a chain master link for my Harley. The man who answered the phone told me Harleys dont use chains, and they only use belt drives. After explaining to him that some Harleys do use chain drives, he insisted they do not. I couldnt stop laughing after I hung up the phone.

Went in there right after I bought my first motorcycle and had no idea what to get. The dude there was really helpful and gave me a ton of advice and showed me some gear. It got kinda hectic in there but he kept coming back to me and checking up on me. Great experience.

They have a pretty good selection of gear. Their house brands are kind of a mixed bag; although the build quality isnt top notch they have a good warranty and theyre really good about exchanging items without any runaround. They also have accessories and some tools.
