I had the weirdest experience ever at this dealer. We showed up to look at a particular minivan and hopefully purchase it. However, there was a loud noise from the fuel pump and the DVD players didnt work at all. We told them that wed buy it as long as those issues were addressed. He took our number and said hed call the following Monday after figuring out how to fix those things (it was Saturday). Wednesday rolls around and still no call. My husband tried reaching out to them and the guy who answered said "Well its only Wednesday, Ill let him know you called and if you dont hear anything by Friday, try us again". So we did. They said they replaced the fuel pump with a re-manufactured one but it was still noisy. DVD player was never addressed. He said to give it another day or so to let the mechanic drive it around and hopefully itd clear up on its own. When we spoke to him again he said it might be the rack n pinion but they were trying to avoid replacing it. Who admits that? That they want to do the least amount of work on their vehicles before selling them? And they use re-manufactured parts? We were desperate so we told them that wed ignore the noise and hope it wasnt an issue but we really felt like they should at least fix the DVD player. He said "Ok, that sounds fair. Give me a few more days to look into fixing it but it could be awhile before its ready. Ill call you." It shouldnt take 2-3 weeks to replace a DVD player. He never called. Ive never been to a dealership that didnt fight to sell me something, and quickly. They never called us when they said they would, they never fixed anything in the time frames they promised... So finally we just moved on. We went to Ken Garff Nissan last night in Salt Lake and walked out a little over an hour later with a great deal on a Honda Odyssey. It shouldnt be that hard to buy something. Either you want to sell a car, or you dont. This whole experience totally confuses me.

I bought my first car from this dealership in 2011, and had a good experience, good enough that I have just purchased another. The salesman are straight foreword and to the point, and I felt no pressure. When I showed up, my salesman remembered me by name from my purchase three years prior. I told him what I wanted and he simply showed me what was available and got me into several vehicles for test drive. One thing I really appreciated is that the vehicles were not completely shined up and molested by detailers and the cars still had their original fluids. This meant that I was able to check these things and see what the cars previous life had been like. When I asked for the car to be put on a lift so that I could check things out underneath the car. They were very accommodating with all of my requests, and their prices are very hard to beat. both of my cars were sold to me under book, the first one was 5000 dollars under and is as reliable as anyone could expect of a car with 120000 miles. One thing I should point out to those who have had or heard of negative experiences here... Even at the best dealership, the salesmen will not know everything that is wrong with every car. Cars are expected to pass safety and emissions before sold and not much else. Regardless of where you shop, it is important to check out the car you are about to spend anywhere from 3000-40000 dollars on in detail before signing the papers. If you are not, or have never been a mechanic it is in your best interest to take your car into a shop to have it looked over for problems. Some places like extreme auto in Centerville even do a pre-purchase specific inspection to help protect you from purchasing a lemon. Also, purchase a warantee where available. One major repair will cost you more than a warantee. As I said before, great salesman, great deals, great service, and I will very likely be returning for my next car.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BUYING A CAR HERE. I like my car, and there were a few salesmen that were super nice. The reason I am only giving one star is because of all of the things that were wrong with the car that I didnt know about. I pointed out a few things that needed to be fixed before I bought it, and they fixed a few. They said they would fix the engine light, but when ever I brought it in to be looked at, they would do the same thing, and the engine light didnt go away. After driving it for a week I noticed the horn didnt work at all, the cigarette lighter didnt work, the ignition switch was loose, and it had trouble starting after I filled it with gas. After 2 weeks of having the car, the clutch went out!!! They were nice enough to bring the tow truck and give me a loaner car, but once I confronted one of the salesmen there about why the clutch went out so fast, HE ACCUSED ME for burning it out so fast. I have been driving manual cars since ive gotten a licences, so i knew that was false. He continued to yell at me and threatened to not replace it. I paid for the parts, and they paid for the labor. I was furious so of course I didnt return. Only a few months later, I found out the AC didnt work, my key is now stuck in the ignition and will not come out, and I am once again replacing the clutch, I guess 200 dollar clutches dont last long. My advice to anyone buying from here is check EVERYTHING, and take it to a second mechanic. This was only my second time buying a car, I have learned a lot, and I am TERRIBLY disappointed.

I bought my 2000 Honda Civic from this dealership a few years back. After the car died on me a couple months later, I found out that the car was sold to me illegally. Parts were illegally torn out of it and one of the oxygen sensors were illegally bypassed. The air intake was a dryer hose connected directly to the engine on one end and a crappy air filter on the other. After regrettably paying this dealership $6,000 to buy this car, I had to spend $3,000 just to get it legal to drive. Ive moved out of state since purchasing the car. And even something as simple as removing the license plate took over five hours of work due to screws rusted so bad the screws fused with the car. I ended up taking the car to a dealership and spent $100 to remove the crappy, low-quality screws Beutler put on. I worked with the Davis County authorities, investigating Beutler auto. They confirmed that Beutler isnt a reputable place, doing shady things. However, due to Beutler hiding details and outsourcing certain work, there would be no way for me to prosecute Beutler Auto. This dealer doesnt deserve to exist. I regret breathing the same air they breathe.

Bought a chevy 1/2 ton extended cab about a year ago. Had an issue with the battery, they fixed it that day, no questions. The starter motor had difficulty, had to order one special, no problem. These guys are top notch, very professional. I do not know of any vehicle that is "maintenance free" or that is wrecked (without a salvage title). I do not believe these folks would sell something of that nature, they are very forth coming with information and extremely helpful in all senses of the word. Having purchased numerous vehicles over my lifetime (62 years) I cannot say there has ever been a time that I was so completely satisfied with owning a vehicle. By the way carfax is not very accurate however Beutler will give you a report if needed (personal experience, father-in-law bought a truck in WVC from a fly-by-night Mexican outfit with a clean carfax, found out later it had been in a serious accident that left serious damage to the steering mechanism). If anything DO NOT trust carfax. Thanks again Beutler team..
