Today, I bought a 10x12 metal shed on the website to go pick up at this Home Depot store. Everything went great up until we drove across town and pulled into the parking lot then I get a text saying, "Sorry, we cancelled your order and have issued you a refund." I was given the reason as being there were no more in stock. However, thats not what the website said when I ordered the shed. If it had said on the website that there were none, I would not have ordered from that specific store location in the first place! My husband and I went inside to ask if there was anything that could be done, perhaps going to get one at a different location. Neither the customer service agent nor the manager even offered to help us out. Their response was simply, "Oh, Im sorry, we cant help you, theres nothing we can do" with a attitude like they really didnt care. So, now we are having to wait for our refund for 3-5 days, which will probably take longer than that in reality. I think that instead of just automatically canceling the order & texting me, maybe someone couldve called me & given me the option to choose a different location to pick up the shed from. But no- instead, now they have lost two lifelong loyal customers. We are extremely upset about this whole situation!

More mess, more dodging, thats the power of the HomeDepot. Store is generally messy, always stock needing to be put up, but without an employee in sight. When you do see an employee (which is like spotting a leprechaun) they will either dodge you, ignore you, or when they do speak, its like dry humping a porcupine with how clueless they are about thier own department. Ive seen many times where they get a page that a customer needs help, and they scowl, and just go back to stocking, or whatever they were doing. And heaven forbid you need help finding something. After 12 pages, a manager conversation, and a special appearance of the Virgin Mary ... you finally get dumb and dumber over there, its a 20 minute search for them to tell you they dont carry it (even though you know they do), so you have to do a Google search , find it, shown them an item number, and then.... go find it yourself. I only go in this rat infested pit when um feeling good about myself and humanity, and need to knock that feeling down a little to prepare for a trip to walmart (cant just jump in there cold turkey)

I called around to several local stores (Lowes and Home Depot) to find out in-store availability on dishwashers as well as pricing. I was getting frustrated until I spoke with Tiffany at this store. She was very friendly and did not act like she just wanted to get me off the phone. I asked her several questions, she politely checked and provided me answers, and she ultimately helped me wrap up one of my most looming tasks at work today (simply because everyone else I talked to could not be bothered at other stores). I truly appreciated that she took the time to look up and answer my questions in a courteous and professional manner. Great job Tiffany!

Im digging it. I went to Lowes and bought garage door opener. Two weeks later went with a buddy to this store to get one for him, same opener, $20 less. Tiled my dining room, very helpful with all the questions I had, and saved me time and money by pointing me in the right direction. Now Ive got to replace water heater, they again pointed me in the right direction and again saving me $$ and Ive got a top line heater. All days arent good but the majority are. Well done, Ive seen an improvement.

Decent selection, but the customer service line is laughable, at best. The young lady I spoke to today was beyond rude and interrupted me at least 4 times to keep trying to ask a question I was already in the middle of answering. She was completely dismissive and could not wait to get off the phone. I recommend just showing up at the store in person and asking for a manager if you have an issue. There is no point in having a customer service line if your customers cannot receive service.

Im not sure why Im even reviewing this place after reading other reviews because they clearly dont care that their customer service is terrible and arent going to improve it. On numerous occasions my husband and I have bought heavy things for our home and nobody could be bothered to help us get it in the truck. We have had run ins with rude and uneducated staff even about the region they work in. With the exception of a girl named Carolyn who is a delight this place is ridiculously bad.

Waited for someone for over 15 minutes to help me. I finally went up to service desk and 6 people were there. No one asked if I needed help so I asked one of them if they coyld help me. Hats off to Raul who did his best with an area he wasnt familiar with but, found someone who could help. Went to look at tubs to purchase and again, no one around to ask anything. I left without a single purchase.

Went into the garden center looking for a plant to place on my patio. A young gentleman, Randal, was more than willing to assist us. He was friendly, knowledgeable & extremely helpful. He helped us pick out plants & soil. He made our visit quick, easy & delightful. Thanks Randal. Youre the best :-)

Bought a kit online 2 hours later just as I was waiting for the message to go pick it up, i get a call saying they dont have the kit so now I have to wait 3 to 5 days so that I can get my money back so that I can go buy the kit that I needed for work the next day

I always love coming to Home Depot, nice tools, product...customer service... Sucks. Employees walk by you, 8 or 9 with asking if you need help. Until you find that one that will go out of their way to help you.

Dont go to this Home Depot. Waited a half hour just for help carrying a toilet out because of my bad back and couldnt get anyone to come the aisle. Even called the store from inside the store! Horrible experience!

The employees constantly give me wrong information. I ask where something is and they send me down an aisle thats not even there. Mindless drones with no intelligence of their own.

Its difficult to find things at times. almost like you need a trail of crumbs to find your way through. Good luck finding helpful staff. I consider HD the Target of Home Improvement

Home Depot has a pretty good selection on home improvement supplies. The staff is usually friendly, but many lack the knowledge to actually help when you have a question.

Appliance person was ignorant about her products and told me to just go on line and order what I needed. She could not answer even basic questions about a microwave

I walked in and passed at least 2 HD employees, was never asked if I needed any assistance. However, the lady at the self-serve checkout section was awesome.
