I went to this HD for their At Home Services for a window replacement. I have had good experiences at this store. Hello. I had a window replaced with a new Simenton vinyl window. I believe out of all the windows I have seen this is the best one , looks great and happy with the materials it is made with and the features the window has. Plus advertised life time warranty. hope i never have to use the warranty. Product I would rate 5 STARS. Install Supervisor TIM get the 2 stars. I watched the whole install of the window. The room the window went in, was just remodeled and has not been lived in or have furniture. the walls are all fresh no crack of damage of any kind. the h in the five months it has been re modeled. The house was built in 1983. Not to go through all the detail, the part which i wish i would have videoed was the removal of the old window. One of the installers used a hammer at full force to break out the middle window frame, and then a crow bar to remove the bottom frame and top. No problem with the tools. However the bottom bricks came loose. Neither installer said a word until I did and asked if they would of told me out of there own will. The lead installer told me not unless i Asked them. I was told the window will hold them in. How if the mortar has been broken loose? Then came out the chisel for the excess mortar. Now when i went to put the blind back up there was a crack on the left corner drywall above the window and one at the right bottom corner. I call the Install supervisor and told him what happened, tells me to send pictures. Blames the recent rain and that my foundation has moved and that five other window installers will tell me the same thing. Argued with me that he been doing this a long time and no damage has ever occurred like what I described. I ask him if he is going to repair the damage. He tells me NO! That Im now Home Depots problem. No attempt to even resolve this . However Tim the install Supervisor will forward to right people i have had problems with the rain. How? Blame the rain and my foundation. I did not know this Intall. Sup was an engineer on structures. I do have before pictures of the old window and new drywall remodel, I will show At-home services. Lessoned learned. To photograph before and after , the day of the install.

Home Depot is plagued by inferior and disconnected corporate management handicapping each of their locations from opening day onwards. With this in mind I have learned to appreciate this specific store more than any other HD. Unfortunately many of the complaints mentioned elsewhere in these reviews are well grounded, but I have almost always been treated with respect and appropriate consideration for my needs. It is easy to identify the new or less informed associates, and I have never had any trouble being referred to one with more knowledge. The manager has especially impressed me with his customer service skills and overall empathy whenever I felt compelled to request his involvement. I have little respect for HDs corporate culture which explains the vast majority of issues listed, but I see how hard they try with so little support or sympathy from above store level management. I encounter the same problems at every home improvement store I go to, but I believe this one gives all it has with what they have to work with.

This store is abusive to the employees that actually do what they are supposed to and is right, fails to properly dispose of chemicals, fertilizers, cleaners and had me throw away tons of plants and materials for nothing. I tried filing complaints about how they would target particular employees while letting people who have worked there for a while get away with things and even do nothing while a huge workload imbalance is shifted on the employees they already treat horrendously. The Store Manager himself claims Human Resources has no effect and doesnt matter, so dont be surprised when your service here is less than satisfactory. This is apparently a major issue as per hundreds of other reviews.

I walked in with my family, an associate made eye contact and proceeded to walk away without greeting us. Went to the paint department and stood in line, again no greeting or we week be with you as the associate made the paint. I had a question, that was all. I ended up finding what I needed on my own after a good 10 minutes of going up and down the aisles. I was very disappointed. An associate finally greeted me as I was walking out, Jay. Jay worked in electricall and was very friendly and apologized on behalf of his peers. Ill so back tutu the other Home Depot off of 820 and Ruffe Snow in the future, or maybe even Lowes.

I wish I could write separate reviews for different departments. We go here often as its the closest to our house. Anytime weve needed help with lumber, lighting, gardening, etc., the employees have always been really helpful. But the sore spot in this store is the tool and truck rental department. I called asking questions about truck rental as Ive never rented from them before and I got nothing but attitude, annoyance, and interruptions from the guy. Not cool when Im just asking questions. If you dont like your job, get a different one but dont take it out on the customers.

Im a regular to this Home Depot, and believe that they are consistently less expensive than Lowes. The employees are nice, the only hiccup that Ive experienced is when I purchased solid core doors to replace my interior doors, I waited more than three months for The Home Depot and their vendor to finally get close enough to the product I originally purchased before I just settled with a different interior door. There were a lot of details to this poor experience, I will spare you, but needless to say, I am hesitant to purchase another home installation product from them.

Poorly trained staff, will not buy from a company that cant sell me a product they know nothing about. I was looking at edgers and asked the young sales rep if it came with string. The rep says it"should" come with it. I told him if I get home and there is no string im going to be mad. He tells me if it does not come back and ill give you string......this is a lazy way of doing buisness. The rep could not find out (did not care). I left everything in my cart and left. I dont have to buy from HD

They couldnt help me with the pricing on the different types of pre-made fence sections because they have only ever sold 2 and the display has no pricing. Then another employee told me I need to come back during the week because the people at the pro counter know but are closed on the weekend. This home depot is close to home and I can only shop on the weekend because my job so lowes here I come.
