WATCH OUT IF RETURNING ITEMS - If you have a return or an exchange to make & a middle eastern lady named NAHA is at the costumer service desk - ASK FOR SOMEONE ELSE to do the transaction!!!!! SHE WILL CHEAT YOU!!!! I am doing some diy home renovations & bought too many of a few things because its inconvenient to run out of something in the middle of a task. I get to HD & stepped up to the desk to return my items. I asked for store credit because I had a lot more things to get. She started to cop an ATTITUDE that she couldnt do a store credit because the method of payment I used to pay for those items would dictate how I would be refunded. I said "WHAT??!!" I was so CONFUSED & DUMB- FOUNDED, I asked her to please clarify what she meant by that. She looked me straight in the eye, leaned forward with her elbow on the desk & repeated what she said with her eyes rolling at me. First of all, whats with the attitude????? Second of all, I told her, "I WANT to spend that money Im about to get back, IN your store!" So, just put it on a store card. She REFUSED. WTF???? I asked her to call a manager. When the manager arrived, she checked the transaction but the items being returned was NOT what NAHA entered for the return. She entered a item number thats priced at a MUCH MUCH LOWER cost than the actual cost of that item. EVEN THE MANAGER QUESTIONED HER, "WHAT DID YOU DO??" So, the entire transaction had to be wiped out & started over. THIS LADY WILL CHEAT YOU IF YOU DONT WATCH HER!!!!! DO THE MATH OF WHAT YOURE RETURNING & CHECK YOUR RECEIPT OF WHAT SHE ENTERED TO PROCESS YOUR RETURNS!!!! As I shopped for other things I needed, a store employee that was at the desk when I had the altercation, came up to me & even said that they couldnt even believe at how she was treating me! That muslim employee redefined "BUY AMERICAN" for me. HOME DEPOT, REPLACE THAT CHEAT ROBBING YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!!

I went in for a refrigerator and found and purchased one. A nice Samsung. It wasnt available to carry out because now days no one keeps things like that in stock. No problem. I made plans for it to be delivered 3 days later. That day I took a day off work to be here to receive it. No one called me with a delivery window like promised. After 3 attempts I get through to an actual person and was given the delivery window. Great, we are all ready. The delivery guy calls, hes running ahead of schedule and can be here early, GREAT! My refrigerator went out on Friday, its now Wednesday and the refrigerator will finally be here! Well, it shows up and its beat up pretty bad. Its badly dented. Im not accepting a dented refrigerator that cost $2,200.00. Delivery guy leaves, I call the phone number I was instructed to call ,by the salesman when I bought it , if any problems came up. Well, that dang thing was nothing but an automated system with no end in sight. After 3 attempts I got a super nice lady to help. I was told I could have a new one sent to me 7 days later. I didnt think this sounded good and asked if I could just pick it up myself so I could have it today. The warehouse its at is 10-15 minutes from my home. I was told no, thats not an option. Tuesday or Wednesday would be the earliest time for delivery, you cannot pick it up. I then called the Home Depot where I bought the refrigerator and asked to speak with that manager. Finally, someone who can help me. No, he couldnt help either. I dont really know if its Home Depot who let me down or not, but they are the ones who sold me a refrigerator for $2,200 , promised it delivered 3 days later, and has my money while I have no refrigerator and am not even allowed to go pick it up myself. That will now be $2,200 , and 2 days off work, and another week without a refrigerator. Thank you Home Depot for going that extra mile for me!

My 86 year old mom bought a dryer on March 10th with a letter stating delivery was to be on the 15th. Delivery service called on the 15th stating the dryer ordered was dented and undeliverable. A new one would be ordered with a follow-up phone call for a delivery date. Two days later WE call and the rep told us it had already been delivered. A call was made to Home Depot to a "supervisor" on the 19th and we were told he would look into it on Monday, the 20th, with a follow-up call no later than 10:00 am with a resolution to the problem. 12:30...no call, no dryer. We call Home Depot and a associate said they would look into it and call us the next day, the 21st. at 12:30. Another day wasted and still no dryer or delivery date set. After speaking with mom, she called Home Depot back and cancelled the order. A supervisor called later in the afternoon to tell us he would look into the problem at 12:30 the next day, same thing the first lady said. He was told that I was on my way to Home Depot to pick up the refund. At the customer service desk the associate was very professional on doing her job and apologetic about our ordeal. I had asked to speak to a "manager" so they would know why we asked for a refund. If I were a business owner I would want to know why I lost a $500 sale. After repeated calls and store pages by the customer service agent, and her telling them my desire to speak to a manager, and after waiting close to 30 minutes, the operations manager finally shows to hear my story. I left with the impression that no one was really interested in why they lost a sale, it wasnt going any further, and it was very possible someone else was going to go through the same experience as we did. ... Today, after reading some of the other reviews, this seems to be an ongoing problem. Im a good customer of Home Depot but I wont be buying any more appliances from them.

The employees here go above and beyond the call of duty to help complete a project. I needed three blocks of wood with 21 holes drilled into each block at 45 degree angles and have NO TOOLS OF MY OWN. This Home Depot cut the wood and drilled all the holes by marking them and making a tissue paper template so all 63 holes allowed me to have the holders I needed for 63 tuning forks. Besides the cost of the material, they did not charge me for the labor. In fact, the drill worker came in on his day off to do the project free of charge. The only thing I did in return and is let the manager video tape me to submit the employee for employee of the month with the home office. Very helpful store.....unlike its competitor that is across the street.

This is a nice Home Depot in a nice area. One of those "upscale" ones with a better selection and some better brand names. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. Not the kind of "Whats a hammer drill" kind of employees, but the nice younger people who have obviously been on a job site and know what guys look for in tools. Materials such as lumber isnt usually warped. Concrete bags are generally a clean area. The people at returns are attentive and friendly. I dont usually get the 20 questions routine like I do at some places. I generally like to come to this store because work takes me here, but Im usually at the Arlington location - and they have five stars from me, but for different reasons.
