My husband and I have done extensive research on staining a table top for our home. We have looked on pinterest, google, youtube, blogs, etc to find the proper paint, techniques, brands, water-based stains and where to buy. We finally came to the conclusion that Home Depot was the best place to go. You guys had the water-based stains, Minwax was a preferred brand, we liked the color choices online and were excited and ready to go! Yesterday we finally had some extra the time to go to the Southlake, TX Home Depot to get the proper pre-stain, stain base and polyurethane needed to do this project right. We have taken this project seriously as we know the investment that will be made with buying the right stains, etc is not cheap. We found everything we needed at Home Depot and our color choices were right on display above the paints to be chosen for mixing. We got up to the paint line and waited 45 minutes (with 2 small kids, I might add). After 45 minutes, the young man took our appropriate Minwax stain base can and went to the computer to mix the color we chose (White Wash Pickling). After about 10 minutes he looked confused and came back to me and said he couldn’t find the color and he was sorry. I reminded him it was a color on the display and to please try again. We were there for too long to turn away now. He went over, looked a few times, tried on the computer again and perplexed, told us once again that he couldn’t find the color and wouldn’t be able to mix it. My husband asked him to ask his associate to see if maybe he could help. The older associate went to the computer and couldn’t find the color and simply gave up saying he didn’t have what they needed to mix the stain color for us. After over an hour, they didn’t seem willing to even try to remedy the issue and we were turned away, empty handed. We have spent multiple thousands of dollars at Home Depot. Including paint. I have never been so disappointed with you guys. This was terrible customer service and terrible leadership. If those colors are on the Home Depot website, on Minwax website, and clearly on display at the store, then shouldn’t they be easy to mix? I question the management at Home Depot. Seems things are slipping quickly. I also noticed that while the paint department was now getting bombarded, there were employees at the front twiddling their thumbs and asking to be cut to go home because they were obviously bored. This is not what fine-tuned companies are supposed to look like. I like Home Depot, but feel like I am going to have to take my money elsewhere and go to more specialty places if something doesn’t change soon. This is unacceptable. @Minwax @homedepot @waterbasedStain

Okay so sometime in September 2017 I went to this home depot to purchase my blinds for my new home, I paid for someone from the HD to measure them and then weeks later they were going to come to the house to install them. So far so good!! now here is where I had my problems with them, To make this short I got bad measuraments on the balances (top part of the blinds) since most of them had gaps with the window lines. I called the HD several times to complain the same day I got them and a few days later I had to go to the actual store to complain! I spoke to a manager and they got the installer to come to the house again, he makes it days later and he agrees to me in person in my own house that the valences are short and tells me within 2 min he was ordering new ones for me at no cost! Weeks later I get my order and the valences were wrong again! they sent the wrong thing from the company! The guy orders again the valences and the third time (almost two months later) they come right! The huge problem I have is that the HD have sent me two letters saying I owed them money for that! I have called them and asked to talk to managers and they dont even bother to contact me back! We are in april 2017 and i still received a letter from them saying the same thing! if someone is reading this from that store please get in touch with me and if you are a client who wants to purchase blinds from here please dont it! I am saving you from a lot of trouble !

I have never been so insulted in my life. My sub Contractor went in to buy tools. With a cart full of tools and still shopping I happened to walk by the pro desk and overheard two home depot "PRO" employees while looking at my sub contractor quip "I wonder if they are going to pay for all of that". My sub Contractor is of Hispanic heritage. However he speaks far better english then most high school kids. He is a businessman and has owned his company for over 15 years. To stereotype a person because of the color of their skin. Shame on you Southlake Home Depot. Shame on you Home Depot for supporting such behavior. I do not shop at any Home Depot anymore, period. That 4.5million I spend alone on the company card wont be going to you Home Depot. Good thing we pay our bills on time too. I think Lowes or elsewhere will appreciate that at least. Also, your customer service at this store is terrible. Dont give someone a PRO badge or allow themselves to be called a Master, or Journeyman of a skill trade if they do not know the trade or the language of the trade. You may have other people fooled, I am not.

I would run not walk if you are buying an appliance. Our refrigerator was delivered damaged and I spent 3 hours at Home Depot to try to get another one delivered quickly. I was then told I would have the damaged one delivered the following morning only to find out I will not get it until the afternoon. A replacement is supposed to be delivered in a week but who knows how that will go. 2 days worth of headaches and my time spent is totally unjustified. The salesperson lied to me which tells me they do not care about the customer. I will never go back!

I would strongly recommend going elsewhere to get new flooring installed we had a horrible experience with getting floors installed prior to installation, during installation and after installation. Customer service is horrible at this location in the actual flooring department as well as quality of provided product. Also you should know all services provided are not at the will of Home Depot they are all done by outside contractors Cooper Flooring which is a very low quality installation company, and others when you have issues with your flooring.

I came in needing some paint. After speaking with Victoria and Caroline, we figured out that another store had given me the wrong paint. Ive never painted before so I didnt know the difference. These ladies were so helpful with correcting my situation. They helped me understand the process better and were very pleasant. I wish it was closer to my house so this could be my store. Thank you, Victoria and Caroline!

¿ the company only cares about the bottom $. They treat employees bad, bathrooms are cleaned 1 time per day. Cant ever find enough help. High turnover rate. Poor install department. They dont have one. And everything in the store is non-American made. And when u get hurt on the job. They will make sure your not being assisted. I witnessed this happen to a Homedepot Associate.
