You get what you pay for. The warranty is great and I did utilize the extended warranty in the past, which was honored. The staff are few and often multitasking. I presume that the consumer savings have to come from somewhere; its probably a combination of few staff and tools from china. As a general rule, the tools are disposable, so its well worth it when the tools are warrantied. They often burn out before the warranty is up. They do carry things that you cant find at Menards, like 7" sanding disks/circles for a circular sander. My sander has been an exception to the disposable tools rule, as this thing has been used and abused to sand two decks and one entire house. It runs like a champ. Skip on all the battery powered drills, they arent worth $20. The drills burn out quick, dont keep a charge, and often get dangerously hot on the charger.

If you need a tool that will do the job once or twice at a fraction of the price of a expensive quality tool, this is the place to go. Some tools are alright though. You get what you pay for. But they do have a good warranty on there products. $100 will go far here! I dont know how the staff is because I usually know what Im getting before I go there. So I only deal with the cashier, which usually they are friendly.

Horrible service! I sent my wife there to buy a tool and without checking they told her they didnt have enough it. They were very short with her and refused to go check their stock. I called an hour later and they told me they had 2 or more in stock. They have some good deals but avoid the Fargo location at all costs!

no one on the floor to help me and when I did find someone it looked like the whole store was standing in a room doing absolutely nothing,it was my first visit to this store and it will be my last,it was ridiculous,if you want better service and better quality tools,go to Ace Hardware or Menards.

Tools are priced for the "little guy" they are in a remodel that was quite needed. The store was a dust factory for a while there. But this is going to be a great positive change :)
