Manager is not professional. I had bought a 2 inch trash pump a hour earlier but decided I needed a 3 inch one so I brought the first one back un-used (but opened the box) to buy a larger more expensive model. The gal at the counter was going to make the exchange no problem but the manager walked up and immediately started to lecture me on how returns such as mine were the problem with retail. He very ungraciously "waived" the re-stocking fee because (as he stated sarcastically) I was such a "great" customer. Hmmm, perhaps I should have LIED and said the pump was broken or even perhaps help it fail and then claim it was already damaged? He practically called me a liar when I asked for a exchange on a larger hose when he at first failed to see the receipt attached. He said "I guess I am going to have to take your word for it" as he rolled his eyes. I think I angered him when I told him I was not surprised he was the manager because some of his employees poor attitude was just like his. My steadfast refusal to buy a extended warranty did not help my popularity either. The girl at the counter was flustered and made several mistakes in all of this but she never failed to smile and be courteous. Quite unlike the clown running the place. Great place for cheap Chinese tools but be sure to carefully save your receipts and avoid the hard sell on the extended warranty.

I purchased some drill bits they would not fit my Worx Reversible drill due to the chuck would not lock on the bits. I returned them for a. refund. The cashier named Corey was very rude he demanded to know what was the problem. After I explained he refunded my money back slammed the register I thanked him he never said a word Through out the years I have purchased from Harbor Freight. This is first time I have been treated so rude. Corey needs Anger Management sessions or his kicked out the door to seek another job.

They had everything I needed for my project except for solder. They only had non-lead solder which is a pain but understandable for liability issues. All in all I got a crap ton of tools for not a lot of money. Not sure about the longevity of the tools but a lot of them I will only use once or twice, so I dont need the expensive brand name stuff. Glad theres a place for decent tools at great prices.

I recently had an A great experience at the store. Im a regular shopper here and the staff is usually friendly and helpful. On this particular visit I was having a customer service issue and the cashier wasnt quite sure how to handle it. So she called the manager and the manager and cashier put their heads together and figure out how to solve my problem!

Definitely my favorite of all the metropolitan Harbor Freight stores. The staff is always friendly and helpful; the store is always clean and stocked well. As for their tools, Ive had very good luck with them and anything Ive had an issue with has been either taken care of by the store (defective item) or was as a result of my own misuse.

A cashier called the next customer. I was the next one on one line so I went with her. She said not you, the people on the other line. She was so rude. Even the other people reacted with a wow to her rudeness. Im never coming to this store again.

Dont ever call and ask if they have products in stock and or a price because they get pissed if they have to look up anything or actually go look at a product for you..Sorry customer service on the phone..
