I bought a gift for my wife and asked Aarti Jeweler that if my wife dont like it then I will bring it back, they told me no problem. My wife did not like what I bought so we took it back to Aarti Jeweler and they refused to refund me instead offered me store credit, on that day we bought 2 sets of chain + Allah pendant each $ 400 total $ 800 and $ 400 left as store credit, today April 29th 2017, I went there to buy another set of same chain and Allah pendant and as soon as I mentioned that I gave store credit, the lady told me that the price for chain is $ 675 and the pendant $ 185, when I asked her why $ 860 for the same sets we bought for $ 400, she tells me that the Gold price gone up, she was charging me $ 460 extra. these people really dishonest and Paisai ka Mureed, I had heard of a saying which says (Isaa Peer Mousa Peer, sab se badha PAISA PEER) I experienced that today at Aarti Jewelers, I left my $ 400 store credit and walked out and none of them asked me to come back, I believe in Karma and they will see the results of their actions and dishonesty, my mistake that day I did not go to Govindjis, they are real professionals and they are really HONEST enjoy my $ 400 and whenever you see financial or any other type of loss, remind yourself of how you took care of me today and wanted to make 110% profit on my store credit (I just got a call from owner saying that he will sell the Chain and Allah pendant for $ 400 which is equivalent to my store credit if I remove my review and I refused and told him to keep my money but I let consumers know what type of business he is running, he tells me that he has been there for 20 years and he does not care about online reviews that his customers post)

I had a bad experience at this store as well. I bought a pair of gold ear rings. The design of the jewelry was nice but I was quite disappointed when I came home with it and did some more research on gold price. The sales lady was not very upfront with me on the price of gold portion of the earrings knowing that I was not a seasoned gold buyer. The ear-rings were part of a bigger set and the lady did not give me clear pricing information. She made it sound that she was giving me a great deal but in reality I could get the same jewelry at at half to two-third the price I paid. I did feel cheated and that took away from the joy of buying a gold jewelry. I will never shop there again simply because I cannot trust the store workers. I would not recommend anyone to buy gold there.

My daughters anklets that I bought from Dubai was about to break off and so I took it to Aarthi jewelers to see what they can do. The owner said he can solder it back for $30. My husband and 2 children were with me and all 4 of us heard the owner say he would do it for $30. We agreed. He said to give him both the anklets so he can clean it for us. He brought it out 20 minutes later and I gave him $40. He gave me $5 back. I said didnt you say $30. He said, "No, I said $35. It is not about the money. Its only $5. It is the principle behind it. If he can lie straight to my face for $5, then how much more is he capable of cheating others? Last time, I will ever step foot in that store.

Hmm, i am reading these reviews and it looks like we have a case of stinginess going on here. I have dealt with them twice; both of the experiences have been good; neither totally mind blowing nor sub-par. They were straightforward, fair and laid it all out for me in black & white. Will test the carat authenticity myself and will update this review.
