For starters, I went into this location and the gentleman that was behind the counter didnt even say hello. He gave me a price which was FAR LESS then I had been offered just yesterday. He said that my diamond wasnt even a carat, he is right, its 1.04 carats and he said it was a Marquee (not sure if that the proper spelling) when in fact it is a Pear shape. I guess he didnt know I was holding a certified Gemological Evaluation of the ring in my hand. I had brought it with me just in case. I understand maybe his customers arent looking for a Marquee/Pear, whatever he wants to say it is, but he could at least have the decency to understand that not all of us go to places with our eyes closed. I know what I have, I know what it weighs, I know what the stone is and I was in no way looking to make a whole lot of money, but robbing someone isnt exactly what I would call good business. I dont have a problem with being told the truth and if he didnt want to buy it that was just fine. But offering so little and then not even know the size or the cut? He is right I will probably return where I went yesterday, may not be as much as I want but at least the people there didnt try to insult my intelligence.

I always noticed Longhorn Gold & Silver on Custer & Virginia Pkwy in McKinney and always wanted to stop on in. I am sure glad I finally did! It is a very nice family owned and operated store, and I felt so comfortable and happy doing business with them. They helped me with my Gold and Silver and paid top dollar!. With my extra cash I treated myself to some beautiful silver jewelry they are selling. I bought some bracelets, 2 rings, earrings, and silver chains! It was all so pretty I had to buy for my daughter and daughter in law too! I . Plus I saw they sell silver collectable coins too... An excellent place to bring in your Gold & Silver!!

I absolutely love this store and their prices! I have bought and sold several pieces with them and I wont go anywhere else! I tried several "jewlery exchange" places and felt like they were ripping me off. Every time I was out of Longhorn I feel completely satisfied! Michael helped me design my engagement / wedding ring combo and its beautiful! It appraised over double the amount we paid!! They also have coins, which my kids love!! I highly recommend Longhorn!

Longhorn Gold and Silver Exchange is THE BEST!!! Excellent and friendly service, but above that I got top dollar for the gold I was selling! I visited a store in Frisco first, but decided to get a second opinion before accepting their offer - and Im so glad I did! Longhorn Gold and Silver Exchange blew their offer out of the water! I sold them a golden bracelet and that is the reason I went there. However, they had all of this beautiful silver jewelry with assorted stones and they sold it to me for next to nothing.
