I am a jewelry fanatic. I am extremely serious about quality. I am always disappointed when I go to jewelry stores and I know much more about gems than the salesmen/saleswomen do (that happens 98% of the time). This did not happen to me nor will it you at Lapidary Arts. I was astounded by the knowledge that Rick (owner) has about EVERY gem I could mention. His honesty was very impressive as well. Roger, (manager) was so friendly and helpful I felt like a relative (a very welcome one). This has to be one of, if not the truly finest jewelry store in the metroplex. Go to Neimans, Eismans or Tiffanys if you want to pay double or triple for less knowledge or integrity, but wouldnt that just be dumb??

You have to go in and look to appreciate the fine quality of their original designs. Pictures cant do justice to the the real thing! We fell in love with a sapphire and diamond ring - and they have dozens of these, each original and beautiful. We received great personal service today on wedding rings Rick designed and crafted for us back in 1988. The rings look like new after 23 years. I was impressed with all of the "super" folks there, and Ricks hunting stories are amazing!

I have also had them make pieces for me, using both my own stones or those I purchased from them. Their creativity has resulted in some amazing, unique pieces. If you are looking for cheap pieces of jewelry, dont go here. But if you want a strong, quality, unique piece of jewelry, definitely go visit them.

Lapidary Arts sells only non-conflict diamonds and supports a non-profit that works in Sierra Leone. Its great to know that getting a little bling-bling doesnt have to mean supporting ugly things in far-flung places. They have designed and made fantastic one-of-a-kind pieces for my family for more years than I care to admit.
