I tried to do business with this establishment in June 2017. I experienced racism, unfair service, deception and unethical business practices. The goods I purchased did not work (Rug Doctor X3 Pro). I had to pay to have the item repaired and the owner treated me as if it was my fault. The owner instructed me to go and have it serviced and he would do the right thing and at least pay for half the service charges. When I went in to let him know the motor was defective and needed to be replaced. He told me that it as not his problem. Stay away from these loan sharks. There are reparable businesses in Plano, TX. However, Top Cash Pawn should be avoided at all cost. They will not stand by their word. It does not matter if you are black or white; customer service is not important to these guys!

The only reason I dont give these guys a lower rating is because the system wont allow it. If you do make a transaction make sure its in cash. I tried to make a transaction for $487 (buying some music equipment) and they ended up putting a hold on my account for $1800. I wont waste my time telling you how it happened, just believe me PAY CASH if you have to have business dealings with this store (avoid it unless you have to though there are plenty of better stocked pawn shops in the area). Do not ever give them your credit or debit card. The staff was nice and helpful enough, except for when it came to this issue. I just cant fathom how a $487 transaction turns into a $1,800 hold on my account.

Horrible customer service. I called to ask if they would buy a fully functional in good condition set of dewalt 18 volt drill and impact wrench with 3 good batteries and a charger and the guy I talked to said he would need me to come in to have a look. I drove 14 miles there just to be told they dont take 18 volt dewalt stuff anymore as 20 volt lithium is taking over. First off he could have saved me time and effort over the phone by saying so and who doesnt take a fully functional set of tools? Its not like was just selling the tool and no batteries. What does the battery type matter when I had a good set with everything included? Please dont waste your time there and go to another pawn shop.

Friendly, patient, and very helpful staff are honest and pleasant to interact with. Inventory is A-1 and prices are very very fair. Whoever manages inventory clearly knows what theyre doing. Came in right as they were closing but was invited in and told to "take my time" anyway. Tons of interesting tech and tools, cant wait to spend all my money here on Friday.

They sent me home with a miter saw that was missing the piece to mount the saw blade. I called them up and they told me to just come on in and trade it out for any other miter saw they had. Was a great relief since most pawn shops are no exception for refunds or exchanges. Will be going back for all my tool needs.

Top Cash Pawn has been under new management for over a year now, and the people behind the counter go above and beyond to help you out. They have completely cleaned the inside of the store and have the best prices in town. It is amazing how three people can change a Pawn shop so fast.
