their website states the following "When times are tough and money is scarce, Cash Plus Pawn can be the light at the end of the tunnel. Were a pawn shop with a solid reputation for exceptional service and professionalism. We meet customer needs with discretion." Pure BS! There are some nice people at this location, but there is also one particular jerk that works at this location who is does NOT provide "exceptional service and professionalism" his name is Miguel. EVERY time we do business with him he is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. We have done many transactions at this location, and he is just not pleasant to say the least. The site also states "Cash Plus Pawn can turn those odds and ends into currency. We dont discriminate. We can help anyone turn his or her gems, junk and otherwise unwanted items into cash." We have taken odds and ends, unwanted items and Miguel always discriminates and doesnt help turn gems, junk, or otherwise unwanted items into cash, he is always negative which reflects on Cash Plus Pawn. Miguel has declined items several times from us or just refuses to negotiate, I dont know if just his bad attitude or if he has a personal hate towards us. He was especially rude today when we went to pawn my husbands phone. We went back to pawn mine and we were turned away. We have 3 phones pawned with this location, I was told they dont take the phones on the network I am on, really? then why did they take the other 3 that are on the same account/network? Ill tell you why, because Miguel got his little girl feelings hurt. We were there to do business regardless of your personal feelings. I took my business else where, CASH AMERICA PAWN on Midway was glad to do business with us, and we got the help and exceptional customer service.

This place is a joke bunch of retarded hispanic guys working here even the manager the price is way to high and the guys who work there very loud cursing using s word f word among each other they have no class what so ever so I wanted to get something there the ladie who was helping me told me that the price is out the door price but when she was getting ready to cash me out the manager comes over and says you should charge tax so the ladie had no choice and told me that she had to charge me tax so I just left the store i didnt even wanna deal with them no more and the price is way to high I comaprd to homedepot its the same price except in this place there is no warranty or anything like that and its used but in Home Depot they give you a receipt and warranty plus its brand new if I were you I think twoice before going to this place and a little advice for the person who puts the price on the items you need to get online more often this aint 1990s things are cheep now

I read the reviews on this place before I went and although they were bad, I decided to give them a chance since theyre close to my office and I didnt want to roam around the city. Went in today to get rid of two things that were collecting dust in my garage (and I looked one up on ebay- it was retailing for $60.00). I went in and asked for $40 for the TWO items. The guy behind the counter wanted to give me $30 so I told him $35. He said no. Again, didnt feel like roaming the city so I was like "Ok. $30 is fine." And then he said, "No." Because I didnt accept the offer the first time, its off the table? They ended up doing me a favor, because I found a competitor 5 minutes from them that gave me $60 for both items. And as I was leaving, another customer expressed interest in buying one of my items from the competitor. Horrible service. Do not shop here. And the location has an odor.

Very Good Place and People. If I need to get a loan or anything they have Always givin me Great service since 2010, I am a loyal customer! Cash Plus Pawn Is the only pawn shop I Trust and go to for Pawning, Selling, or Purchasin!☆☆☆☆☆ "No bullshit" all you mf can hate all you want but remember they are a pawn shop maintaining a business. Learn to hassle or go home. Ive never walked out of that place unhappy on a deal! Test the things you buy or pawn before you walk out the door thats just policy @ any shop. I could go to any other pawn within 50 miles but I Dont because Cash Plus Pawn is the only pawn shop in dallas that is Fair & Gives me Great deals..100! Jesse and John are the main guys I deal with, they know their stuff!! P.s. I have lost count of how many times they have went out of their way for me !! If you want a pawn shop that is great and fair go to cash plus pawn.

these people talk to you like youre some vagrant on the streets. i never liked the way people pawn shop people talk to their customers, but these guys are particuarly rude. i just called and asked if some items that werte stolen from my house were brought in to their store, and the guy immediately went on the defense and told me "well if its stolen the cops will find out on their own." what does that mean? I called 3 other pawn shops and they were all surprisingly polite and really helpful. THIS GUY- whats up with this guy?

Me and my boyfriend are good friends with all of them, except the store owner. Jesse, is our guy! Whenever we desperately need money, even if its $20, he hooks us up. Because he knows we.will get the items that we pawn out. They are very funny and give off good vibes. We love going back and forth about each others moms and girlfriends. Lol they are a great place. Only problem Ive ever had was the store owner. He is a true rip off. Ask for jesse , hell do u right.

Sold me defective guitar and refused to give me money back. Do not shop here they sell broken items and only offer store credit. The manager told me he was being generous offering me credit, after they refused to give my $180 back. Ive been shopping here for years and have never had an issue until new mamanagement. I will never spend my money here again, Id advise everybody else do the same, or spend your money at a place that wont swindle you for $180.

CROOKS, Stay away from this place if your trying to get a pawn loan. Especially if you have a REALLY GOOD ELECTRONIC ITEM that they can sell. I went in to PAY OFF and pick UP my item from pawn loan and they told me they had already sold it!!! Wait... WHAT??? Yeah, then they tried to tell me I had came in a day late they put it out for sale and it had just been sold couple hours before I came up there. BAD PLACE! Never going back there again...
