Stop here when I am town and sometimes find a gem, but its pretty tough. Prices on DVD box set, video games, etc are usually above Amazon/retail and they do not account for condition, wrap up box sets in crappy plastic so you cant even look at the discs. Their CD selection used to be great, but not so much anymore, but what do you expect when you pay 5 cents for a CD, nobody is going to sell to you, cases are worth more than that. Im surprised people even still sell DVDs to them. Only reason to go there, is you may find a decent DVD every now and then for a buck or two. Anything else, way overpriced, just go on Amazon. Recently told they only pay a quarter now for DVDs and $2 for box sets no matter what it is, how dumb is that. Only hurting sales in long run as nobody will sell to you. I spent a fortune there in recent years, but getting to be less and less every month now because of poor selection since you cant pay crap for anything now. Some people would rather thow it away than get an insult offer like that.

My all time favorite Pawn America store to go to, from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you walk out. When you walk in you are greeted by every employee you see, asking if you need help in any way or had any questions. Its a whole different environment compared to any other store like Anoka or Coon Rapids. I would be more than happy to drive the hour it takes to get to St.Cloud just to get great customer service (which is hard to find nowadays) and to talk to the friendliest employees. Ashley is one of my favorite workers there she is always so happy and puts a smile on everyones face even when its the busiest time of the day. I went there to buy an iPad one day and she helped me and actually had a conversation with me letting me know what iPad is the best generation etc. she is very experienced and knows just about everything! Overall Ive never seen a company succeed with such great customer service before!

I stopped selling to pawn shops long ago. It is more worth it to join a bunch of for sale sites or garage sale sites on Facebook. I have had better luck and get more money out of the deal. The app LetGo works too. Update 06/18/2017 I live an hour and 10 minutes away from St. Cloud and decided to drive there today to do some major shopping. I went to Pawn America, bought a Nintendo Wii, went home, proceeded to set it up only to realize that they did not include the sensor bar which made the Wii useless. So now I have to drive an hour and 10 minutes back up there to return this. A replacement bar is pretty expensive and the closest place that would sell them is about 40 minutes away. This has happened several times before where I have Bought a product gotten home only to find out that it is defective or they forgot to include something. I dont know why I keep coming here?

Horrible place to pawn stuff at , they will not look up what your stuff is worth! they just eye ball or guess , I brought 6 ps4 games in looking to get a loan for a few days thinking 60 at bare minimum knowing they will low ball me anyway right, being I used to be a manager at a pawn shop years ago and know how they work, but the games are worth double that at gamestop FYI , first the guy looks at them says 20, I looked at him like really, then he says 25 , I was like your not going to look up what there worth , he says I dont need to its 25 or nothing its a waste of time for me to look them up . Lets just say I will never shop, pawn or loan anything at a pawn america ever again.

The variety of things that Pawn America sells is quite staggering - musical instruments, computers, tvs, video games, jewelry, movies, tools, clothing, and a whole lot more. You can also bring items in here to have them sold. I wish that they would do a better job of organizing their movies. Its typical to find 50 copies of The Ring or The Matrix in their collection, but impossible to find the film youre really looking for. You never know what youll find here.

I just tried to call there at just after 6:30pm and received the nice "were glad you called" message and opted to speak to someone but nobody answered the phone and I let it ring at least 35 times. I was interested in silver,coins and jewelry and had some questions, but obviously they are either too busy for my business (which means someone didnt staff them appropriately) or the are to lazy to answer the phone. Either way, they lost potential good business.

Everything seemed fine purchased and Xbox 360 nice and cheap everything worked when I brought it home. However I noticed they did not clear off the profile of the person who used it before. However they always say they will clear all user data on systems before selling it. Because of this if I wanted to I could of started charging hundreds of dollars to the past owners of the Xbox. There email and passwords where right there. That is unprofessional.

My dad took a lone on two guns at the st cloud MN, not sold his guns but took a lone they transferred ownership of the the guns to pawn America. The had him do a background check on his guns that he owns went to pay off the lone and get his guns back. Can somebody tell me y he needs to do a background check on stuff he owns. He did not sell the guns and pawn America did not do the buyers paper work that the federal government has them do by law

The customer service rep was very unprofessional. Complained about following me outside to look at my products. Didnt even look into any value in my product, didnt search it online, didnt take down any information on the product (which retails at over $300) and told me he would give me $10. I went down the street to the next place and got $95, no hassle with them. I wouldnt recommend this store to someone who is trying to sell something.

The largest and broadest selection of all the pawn shops in the area. They always have sufficient staff, and theyll take some time to work out a deal with you if need be. As to customer service, Ive both bought and sold here (I dont pawn, so I cant speak to that), and theyve always been professional and reasonable. Theres not a whole lot of give on price, either selling or buying, but as I said, theyre reasonable to begin with.

Horrible place! We went there bought 3 games and we live 45 min away. They didnt give us 1 of our games! I called to see if they could send it if i scanned my reciept and they check the cameras. They would only let me come i. With my reciept and then they would check the cameras and do an exchange! They never even apologized! Wast of time and money! I would never recommend this place because of the horrible cutomer service!
