Ive been told there carnitas are really good so i had to try em out. I went and the employees service wasnt that great for a 1st impression. There carnitas and barbacoa is way overpriced at 9.99 lb. Yes they are good but to me taste the same from another meat market nothing really special about it. Me avian dicho que las carnitas estaban bien buenas so fui aver. La comida esta buena pero no tiene nada de especial saben como cualquier carniceria, tambien la barbacoa. Aparte de eso dejan la libra de carnitas y barbacoa muy cara a 9.99 la libra. No vale la pena por el precio, pensaba porque dician que estaban tan buenas por eso costaban 9.99 pero no saben a 9.99 saben como cualquier otra de 7.99. Los empleados no hicieron una buena primera impression. Muy malmodosos y con caras de no querer estar hai. La cajera fue la unica que tubo buen modo.

This place has the best carnitas (shredded pork) I have tried since I moved to Houston. Trust me when I say the drive out to this place is worth it, Im hispanic and grew up eating carnitas. I ordered them for a party my family had and everyone loved them. Ive recommended them to various people. The restaurant is hidden inside the super market, but it is cute and as authentic as it gets. Do not let the atmosphere fool you, this place is a whole in the wall that deserves a lot more recognition.
