Planning a wedding is a LONG process. Youve got to pick so many different vendors, and some are good, some are bad, and some are GREAT! Floral Events is another one of those AMAZING vendors, that I truly have to share my story with. I personally, did not care about flowers, because I know myself and my friends wont remember them, as long as the food was good and there was plenty of drinks, thats all that is needed for a successful wedding in my book. However, thats why I got married, because now I have a better half making better informed decisions when I falter. One of my wifes biggest MUST HAVEs was beautiful decor, ie: flowers! I had searched for different vendors all around town, we met with several different ones, but when we met with Erin and her staff at Floral Events, I was sold. Their professionalism, as far as calling and emails was one of their biggest pluses in my book. I am all about that out of a potential vendor. During, the first meeting, what made it easy was they have flower books based on color! It seems so simple to have, but they were the only ones to actually have it. So if you want blue, they have a book you can go through and pick all the naturally occurring blue flowers. We were no flower experts, so this made it more easily to visualize. In addition, to these color books, they have plenty of books of previous weddings where we can actually see their work on display. Once, we picked our flowers and designs now came the jaw dropper, the price of course. In all honestly, their prices are very reasonable, but the initial offer was still outside of our proposed budget. Erin and her team are VERY flexible. They are willing to made adjustments and substitutions to reduce your design based on your budget. After, some back and forth the final price was agreed upon. Going into the wedding day my wife and I had a certain expectation out of the arrangements, we must say they went ABOVE and BEYOND as far as their final product. It turned a nice venue into a simple stunning one. And I was shocked, but I actually got comments about how beautiful the flowers were, from my friends, even after a long night with an open bar. That goes a long ways. If you are looking for a flower vendor that delivers and will communicate with you throughout the process these are your people!

Initally I had just recieved suggestions from friends about what wedding florist to visit around Houston for our May 22 wedding but hadnt been very excited or impressed until my consultation with Floral Events owner and designer, Bill. From the first phone call Bill was amazing, prompt and more than helpful with organizing my few pretty specific request which were accompanied by some jumbled ideas that needed serious refining. Upon our first meeting all of my concerns or worries melted away. His studio is great from all the detailed displays, to the variety of vases and equipment, to the loveable dogs. Bill has the best personality, had me laughing the whole time and made me feel the most comfortable and welcomed as a client out of all the various florists we had seen prior to him. He was able to sort through my ideas and help figure out stunning centerpieces (also amazing at custom boutineers(sp)) and seemed to be the only florsit who was really on the same page with the specific and grand ideas my future m.i.l. had for my bouquet. He was able to work within our budget and find "cost-effective" (DAD loved this word!) ways to incorporate all the things i wanted. We ended up choosing him as our florist and the day of the wedding I was so anxious to see his work!! The boxes all arrived and everything was packed delicately with each item labeled specifacally to our wedding party.the bridesmaids hydrangea bouquets were to die (he doesnt skimp you like ive seen some other florist do...all of the girls flowers were full and beautiful) and my wedding bouquet was beyond my wildest dreams. sincerely AMAZING!! As for the reception.... I am still hearing compliments daily!! The centerpieces were large, tall and full just like I wanted (and unlike with all of the other vendors i had visited who had quoted higher prices for as few as five stems in these centerpieces...with Bill there was no shortage of spouting calla lillies some had as many as 12!!) Every detail was thought of and executed beautifully. Bill and Floral Events will always be my NUMBER ONE reccommendation to brides looking for a fun, fantastic florsit!!

Absolutely love! Decorated my wedding beautifully and just as planned =) Only one difference that I noted was we said at the meeting to use shepherds hooks for the ceremony and instead they used these iron and glass tables. I actually LOVED the tables and think it may have looked better than the hooks. So please take note, Im not complaining about that, Im complimenting them on the fact that whatever the reason was that the hooks couldnt happen, they still got the effect I was looking for and made it look beautiful! The centerpieces were wonderful, and the cake table was gorgeous. My bouquet was better than I imagined and my bridesmaids bouquets were exactly what I wanted. Many guests have complimented the decor of both the ceremony and the reception. I highly recommend Floral Events and Mr. Bill! He worked with us on pricing and helped achieve my vision within my budget. I should note that I had a hard time with decor vendors and florists and Bill was the last decor vendor I agreed to meet with before giving up and trying to do everything myself. I could go on and on about every detail and how perfect it was but Im sure this has a word limit. The point is Im very happy I went with them!

Bill with Floral Events was recommended to us by Catering Manager, Dana Yoshihara, with InterContinental Hotel, which is where we are having our reception. My fiance and I were blown away from the second that Bill greeted us at the door. His personality is simply great and his sense of excitement, passion, and love for what he does was portrayed in everything that he said and did when we met with him. Not only did he work with our budget, but went above and beyond to enhance our ideas for what we imagined on our big day!!! We had talked to a few other florists before Bill, and so had our wedding planner, but no one gave us the treatment that Bill did. He made us feel like we were his number one priority, his only client, although hes extrememly busy, and just left us very excited with whats to come on our wedding day!!! We are blessed, to say the least, to have Bill as part of such an important day in our lives. I cant wait to see how all the beautiful floral arrangements will come together and leave an everlasting impression in our hearts!!! November 6 is the big day!!!

Acouple months ago the doctors gave my mom some grave news about her health and basically went from having 2 years to having 3 months to plan my wedding. Its been hard emotionally, physically, and financially draining to try and accomplish this. Floral Events has given us a new light and hope that we might have the wedding of my dreams. They have been a god send, blessing us with their generosity and unparalleled kindness. I wish i could give them more than 5 stars because i would give as many as i could and more. Bill the owner welcomed me with open arms and even made me feel like family, even made us homemade grilled cheese and tomato soup during our meeting. He was so kind and genuine you can see that he truly wants to help people and make their special even unforgettable. Javier my designer was very knowledgeable and such an easy person to talk to, letting me let loose and dream big making me reach for the stars and being encouraging and kind hearted. I cant wait for my big day!!!
