It was a nice shopping experience as usual until we started to the register. My husband was flirted with shamelessly by a long dark haired 20 something year old.Altho she .ever came out and openly said anything to direct to him sje certainly laid everything else on thick.Tried to get him closer to her by acting as if she couldnt find a price and size of a certain long gutter nail and obviously wanted him to help her find it on her screen.Of course he didnt go into HER space and then she quickly pulled the nail up.She also ask him what size he thought the lenght was.Come on....I almost said something and should of.My precious granddaughter would have gotten upset.I didnt think to look for a name badge but I am pretty sure it was register 5.So just a tip to women with ni e looking husbands in their 50ies.check out in a different isle unless you feel like a confrontation and a ruined shopping experience. We still love Home Depot just sad to have this memory.

Since I bought my house last year I have been going to this home depot for a little over a year. I have spent a few grand here. Customer service in general here is very hit or miss . A lot of times the front end employees seem put out by being asked for help or simply dont know how to answer basic questions. I am a veteran and use my veteran ID for the 10 percent discount, sometimes I get a "thank you" for my active duty service, but a lot of times they dont acknowledge. I have noticed the quality of the indoor plants from this store is not very good, but have had good luck so far with the azaleas I purchased this year. Well see how they do. Had to return some inside plants due to disease and insects in the roots, and a couple just turned brown within a month and died... I did not get a full refund. Be advised, do not buy the bagged much, vigoro or scotts brand, both are terrible quality and full of large peices of wood and trash.

On July 27th, I was shopping and overheard a phone call from an employee, who had called someone and said possible shop lifter cause he was wearing a heavy black jacket in eighty degree weather. I was looking around and so was my husband we were curious. Well few seconds later a short older man walked up. I assume he was the manager and two employees told him which way the guy went, that older man then pulled out a orange box cutter and said very clear to those two associates I will fix it. Well about ten minutes later the guy they thought was stealing. Bought a wooden pole at the same register I was checking out at. What kind of person threatens with a orange box cutter over a wooden pole. Home Depot really needs to start finding better employees cause that older man had a serious attitude problem.

The cashier at the self check was great. Super friendly and very courteous. But trying to chase down someone to help with tools seem to take for ever. (Had to ask twice). Once he got there seemed knowledgeable but not much of personality. The store was VERY to maneuver around especially since walking is challenge for me. So I had to use a electric cart, none was at the front. The lady at the service desk was cleaning when I ask her if they had one. Ahe stood up pointed to other end of the check out lanes... Its over there. Turned her back and started cleaning again. It would been nice to offer to get it or have someone get it. So me and my cane wobbled over to it. So I am really disappointed but the friendly cashier made my trip by being so nice.

I have the feeling that the Lenoir City Home Depot is anti Veteran. I have tried to use my VA card for a discount without being able to. I was told that it was not service connected. I went out to my car and brought in a letter from the VA showing that I had a 10% service connected disability. The clerk said that she would have to take the letter to the manager, which she did. She came back and said that my discount was not available because the manager said that the letter, which showed the 10% service connected disability also showed the monthly compensation that I was getting and therefore not valid. The VA said that they have had many complaints about the unwillingness to give a discount to Veterans that had a disability.

I waited at the paint desk for about 10 minutes - only one person working that counter - approximately 6 other employees standing around talking and laughing - until finally I asked the lady if anyone does anything besides talking and laughing - thats when finally stopped ignoring me - I said all I want is the small can of paint I was buying shaken - she said that I should have said so - I guess it was my fault for not being rude and demanding instant service - I wont make that mistake again - by the way this ant the first time - management should have more and better people at the paint counter

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They do not stand behind their products and refuse to talk to me. I ask to speak with the manager and he called the front desk where I was and told the CSR to handle. Bought a mower and paid full price for the mower and used approx 6 times and now it will not run and when I tried to take it back or get it fixed they told me sorry that I bought a used mower. I was never told it was used and did not even know they sold used equipment??? BAD BUSINESS. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I guess im at fault for not communicating more clearly that I was requesting help loading the 175lb scaffolding (boxed & banded) to the dolly in the aisle to assisting with loading into my vehicle. My issue is with being abandoned once the scaffolding was loaded on the cart in the aisle. How does one convince an employee to help once they are determined to walk away? The employee was a male 40-45 years old. So one would think they would understand how to offer assistance.

I shop here a few times a week for my business. Good people, Todd Drew GM, Grace at the the Contractor Sales Register, Martin Cumpston Customer Service, Aaron in contractor services, Mario and Lance in Appliances. All awesome people and very knowledgeable. I spend a few thousand there every month. I must admit I am disappointed that they dropped the 5% CC (Lowes) Discount in favor for Shell gas credits. No real value to me. None the less great group.

Today my husband and I went in to exchange a fan that broke. After much discussion with the staff, the Asst. Manager and worker we were working with, Tammy, got us taken care of. I am super satisfied with how it was handled. They made me feel very happy with using them. I will continue to let everyone know that too.

If we HAVE to shop, we like shopping at Home Depot in Lenoir City because the salespeople are pleasant, helpful, and make the shopping experience enjoyable rather than a chore. We could only wish that every store where we shopped had employees the caliber of Home Depots Dianne Tietz!
