I was buying lumber and was paying a lot of attention to not hitting anyone or anything with the cart. The clerk allowed me to walk away from the counter without the hardware I just purchased. I stopped for the forklift at the door for a minute or so literally 10 feet away from the clerk. I did not get a "sir, you forgot your stuff" nothing, there were no distractions for the clerk because there was no one behind me in line. I accept responsibility for my oversight, but we have all been there at one time or another. What I do hold Home Depot accountable for is how they hire and supervise, this person was obviously not paying attention. Calling back later HD offered to look at the security camera footage but said they couldnt gurantee anything. I live almost a hour away so a trip back with no guarantee of customer service wasnt much of an option. This may seem like a small thing to many reading my review but this is only one many disappointing experiences I have had over the years with HD. Home Depot has become the Walmart of home improvement. They are a plastic fork in a drawer of silverware, good enough to get the job done but it might leave a funny taste in your mouth.

Its been over a year since we were last in this Home Depot due to poor customer service. My wife went back in there today to look at tile for our kitchen remodel. The gentleman helping her didnt seem interested in helping her find the tile, almost as if it were a burden to him. He didnt seem to know much about the tile options and or prices either. When my wife tried to strike up a conversation and asked him where he was from as he had an interesting accent, he told her he was about sick and tired of answering that question. Needless to say she left promptly, and we will never enter that store again, for ANYTHING! Our negative experience was similar last year, we shouldve learned our lesson then. Lowes has always provided us positive and professional assistance. Lowes will receive all of our business for the next 30 plus years.

Despite the fact that everyone I know says if you want to pay a big box store for any kind of install then you need to go with the big Blue instead, I decided to include HD in my list of folks to get estimates from for some installs Im having done. All of my estimates went great (including one with the big blue) except HD. They didnt listen to a word I said and looked at me like I was stupid. I got the feeling I was more of a nuisance than anything and why on earth would I trust a store that treats you like that with picking out a contractor to do a major install? I wont, and I didnt. I took my business to the local guys myself, who treated me like they wanted my business... probably because with all the money Ill spend, theyll be happy to take it without having to give a big, rude, and unorganized box store a cut.

This has got to be the worst customer service I have ever received. When I called to get a receipt to reconcile my business I was told by Eugenio that he would not fax me my own credit card receipt. I tried explaining that I could give him all the information pertaining to the credit card including the date and amount of the charge, but I was told that for my safety he couldnt release the information. For my safety? Its my credit card! I wasnt asking for the number! I was offering to give you the number! Never again will I let my subcontractors go to Home Depot. LOWES ALL THE WAY!

We went to Home Depot to look for carpet and arrange for a home visit to measure. Justin helped us and couldnt have been nicer. He was very organized and assisted us with picking out samples (three different 8x8 samples will be sent to our home so can see them in our light and next to our new paint job). He helped us with the padding we needed and set up the appt for the measurer to come out. We also needed to get some deck coverage and Sheila helped us; she gave us advice and brochures and was so nice and professional.

Do not go to this store for kitchen cabinets. That department is seldom staffed and anyone else who may assist you can only do so if it is a simple question, not a special order. This happened twice within the last week. I had to go across town after driving fifty miles to get there. In the future I will do my best to use Lowes or anyone else but Home Depot. It seems like they may be going under and I dont wish to be half way through a project and be unable to finish because the went out of business.

Desperate to help you-!!! ^^. Yup, greetings from very entrance and on almost every where you look, they are waiting to smile on you.... I felt ♡ ^^. Even this is at the center of crazy college town, staffs are great with tons of manners. What I see on other reviewers negative comments are due to customers asking manners is the main reason. If anyone comes to me with bossy attitude, I might just turn around and walk away. Lets respect others as I want to be respected. ♤☆♧

Loved my experience here. I was looking for the most efficient and cost effective way to take my dresser up a few inches. Erik was more than willing to walk me and my friend around the entire store helping us get the supplies we needed within our budget. He gave us so many helpful tips. I would definitely come back and ask for Erik every time. Hes so helpful and funny. Which is always a plus. Made a stressful situation virtually pain free.

THIS STORE HAS A VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. THE MANAGERS ARE NICE AND ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP THE CUSTOMERS. I LOVE THE FACT THAT THE ASSOCIATES GO OUT THEIR WAY TO HELP YOU FIND WHAT YOU NEED. I LOVE COMING TO THIS HOME DEPOT BECAUSE THEY ALLOW ME TO FEEL LIKE FAMILY

Never really had any problems here. The staff seems to know what theyre doing. The only thing that bugs me is when they try to pressure me into buying something. It gets real awkward after that dudes, just answer my questions lol.

Very friendly staff and plenty of parking space. Everything a home depot is expected to have. Highly recommend to come if you have any home improvement ideas or general maintenance like gardening.

Every time I shop here there is no one to show you where things are and if you do find someone they dont know where anything is or they dont speak English. They also dont carry 6inch pvc.

Worst Home Depot I have ever been to. No customer service, no customer support. Total lack of employee knowledge and customer care that I have ever seen. Avoid them at all costs!
