This my Go-To hardware and building store for several reasons. They have an extension tool selection to equip you to measure, cut, install, and finish projects. Materials for various home projects from flooring to roofing, and top soil to pergolas. There are very narrowly focused specialty items that will not be available, but over all selection is excellent. Different quality levels are available in each of many categories from homeowner level to professional duty items. There isnt much I have been unable to acquire for an around the house project from this Home Depot. The staff is friendly and helpful and many seem quite knowledgeable about their products. I cannot speak to any installation services offered as I have not utilized any of them. Prices are in line with other large home centers and they have good sale prices.

Horrible service in flooring. Installers called me to finalize details the night before install day, then they never showed up!! Called their supervisor who said he doesnt know where they are"they vanished"!!! They give me an appointment 2 weeks later, then they show up and say "oh, these measurements are all wrong"! The measurements that THEIR technician made. The offered to install, but run the seams in the middle of the room!!! Incompetent and negligent, total disrespect of our time and needs...Havent had a worse experience ever with any business... Never going there again

Myself and a few friends completed a huge home project - landscaping lights. The prices were just right, we searched online for coupons, we had some that were 2 days old and they still honored the coupon. I would recommend. 20 LED Walkway Lights 10 LED Flood Lights 250 Ft of 14 Gauge Wire Compared to lowes, they had a plethora of options to choose from. Lowes only had one brand which was the "lowes" version of lighting and it was incandescent lighting.

Cannot say enough good things about this Home Depot. The staff is experienced and friendly. They always know the answer and are eager to help. You see the same happy faces over the years and the new staff is just as helpful. LOVE this store. They have helped me remodel my entire house basically by myself, repairs included. They installed my carpet and the experience from start to finish was great. Bob in rentals always goes over and above!

spent quite a bit on paint and other things yesterday. Went back this morning because I thought I needed another quart of paint which I bought and as it turned out I didnt need it so I took it back a few hours later. The guy at the service desk said they would take it back if the paint dept. okd it. When I ask the the lady she said no even thought they had quite a few paints that had been returned she flat refused to ok mine.

Order a special order storm door with a designed glass from this store, door comes with clear glass. Talked to store staff, they seems no idea what I really ordered, and told me they will re-order for me, but do not know when it will be available, do not give any paper works. Now, I called them again and again, the staffs said they do not know anything about it, I have to wait the one talked to me last time......

Bought a Honda push mower. Well two days went by and the self propelled broke. SO I had to leave it at the tool rental SO somone can fix it and omg what a stupid mess it has been a week every time I call they cant find my name and they keep saying we will look at the mower. They never fixed it so now Im stuck with a broke mower because I got it for $300 and it is a $700 mower is why they wont exchange it

Their repair service and customer service is HORRIBLE!!!! They quoted me 2 weeks on getting my lawnmower repaired (a very simple repair). 3.5 weeks later they tell me it will be 6 weeks and that there is nothing they can do about it. They ship all their repairs to an offsite facility in Indiana. I spoke to a Manager and she could not have cared less - Her response was "sorry - that is our policy".

Fantastic experience with The Home Depot. They recently donated $530 worth of lumber and hardware for our USPCA Region 5 Trials event in July to build our agility course, catwalk, boxes, etc. to re-certify law enforcement K-9s across Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. We are so grateful for their support and I make a point of shopping here instead of Lowes and tell my friends to do the same. Thanks again!

Depends on what youre needing, most necessities are there, just the top of the line highest price version. Employees only acknowledge you, if you approach them, and it seems as if you are an inconvenience to them. I have been to better home depots, so it isnt the chain, just this one particular store. Personally, I prefer Lowes. I still prefer Ace, or Harbor Freight if they carry what I need.

I frequent The Home Depots in Elizabethtown KY, Louisville KY, and now this THD here in Lexington KY. I have to say that where I am usually frustrated with customer service/help at THD, this store has really impressed me. Customer service has amazed me 2 times. But the floor workers, especially in plumbing, are just awesome. If you live near this store, consider yourself blessed!

Rented a shopvac. It took about 15 minutes for the employee to find two attachments that fit, then sent me on my way. Turns out one of the attachments didnt even fit, so left with small handheld attachment. Then shopvac broke down after only about 15 minutes. A complete wast of time and money. Avoid Home Depot tool rental.

Im not sure whats going on with their distributors, but the quality of Home Depots products gets worse all the time. Had to take back every countertop I ordered because of poor quality cuts; nothing fit together right. There are about 3 people in this entire store who know their business, everyone else will waste your time.

I just spent 30 minutes in this store trying to buy a Graco painting tip and extension. You have to wait in the line for mixing paint because no one else has the "special key" to the combination lock according to the guy at the service desk. Go somewhere else.

One terrible experience: They told me to drop off the item and promised to either fix or send it back to manufacturer for us but then after 2 weeks when I called to follow up they told me theres nothing they can do. Bob at tools rental is rude and not helpful.

We buy our paint and supplies from this store for our business. Great Behr Paint. The only complaint I have is many times they only have one person working or you have to wait for someone to come over to the department. Dont expect to be in and out quickly.

Every one in store was really helpful but when I checked out and needed help loading the 4x8 sheets no one came to help. After 30 min. I went out to load and another customer helped me load the truck. Thanks Home Depot after spending $ 90.00.

The home depot staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If there is ever a question they dont know the answer to they are always willing to help you search for the answer or direct you to someone who might know the answer.
