I live 45 minutes from The Fairfield store. I find it kind of silly to go that far to spend my money with gasoline prices being tacked on to the price of shopping there, With that being said, I must agree with the person who said that electric carts for shopping just arent available. In my age group I find that its just not smart at all to not have them. Most home repairs are done on older homes. Many times these homes are lived in by older people. It is just common sense that your company will recoup the cost of these machines in sales. I have many many times wanted to come from my Cleves Ohio home to get what I need, but opted out due to my permanent back injury and your wonderful large stores size. Please take into consideration us disabled folk, and the need for electric shopping carts, which will not have to be pushed by someone who likely has no desire to push someone through a large store. AND if one is unable to browse around in your great store, the sales that you might have gotten will be not done. Thank you in advance for your intelligent decision to provide several more carts as Lowes and Home Depot does. And in addition...I am in increased pain due to walking around in the store on Friday. This weekend is down for me, but I DO have the paint and lights that I plan to put up as soon as I recuperate or find someone else to do it because of the pain from walking around there.

They dont deserve the one star im giving them now but you have to give atleast one star. Personally I think they have a bunch of lazy ass punk kids that work in the yard. The wife and I went there to pick up some lava rock for a landscaping project we are working on at home. We pull up to the shack where you have to give your pick ticket to a fella there. He just look at it and said ok. My wife ask if someone would be out there to load it for us. (Because of my bad back) He said yes, and he would radio someone to load it for us. We pull up to the spot where they keep the lava rock. And there is an old lady (had to be in her late 60s) trying to load her cart with a different kind of bagged landscaping rock. She said she had been waiting for a very long time but no one ever came to help her. So me with a bad back, (which Drs are wanting to do some major surgery on), loaded the old ladys cart for her. Still no one ever showed up to help me with my purchase either. So me and my wife had to load up our own purchase too! How much trouble would Menards be in if I was to hurt myself loading up my own stuff on their property??? And I wont know if Im hurt or not until I wake up tomorrow. Wont suppose me if so get up unable to stand up straight. All because they hire lazy ass kids and dont pay them much. I am very unsatisfied with that place!

Menards Return policy is a rip off and completely unethical way of doing business. We ordered items and opened an account with Menards in the fall and did not plan on building our deck till spring. We changed our minds and decided not to build our project. Even though we never took possession of any items, they insist that we can only get store credit. We opened an account for several thousand dollars. We are stilling paying interest on a loan JUST to Get STORE CREDIT that we dont want or need. Again we never picked up a single nail from them for this project. We simply wanted to cancel an order. Lowes and Home Depot will get my thousands of dollars for all future projects. Nice looking stores and friendly staff but a very deceptive way of keeping your money. We strongly urge anyone else that may have experienced a similar situation with Menards to contact the following: Menards Corporate Office. Send copies of your complaint to : State Attorney General Office - Columbus Ohio Better Business Bureau Cincinnati Chamber Howard Aim, Channel 12 Troubleshooter. You will get responses back. Final step: You will need to pursue them in small claims court for resolution . Just remember, Menards is only nice to you when their getting your money.

Very disappointed. Referred a friend they purchased a $1000+ fridge no delivery options u could rent a dolly but u had to have Credit/Debit card. No other options. Then the guy loading fridge in truck dented bottom corner/motor area. They tried to use their prepaid credit card Menarnds ran the card said it wasnt approved but they used it for the purchase of the appliance then they said they couldnt use a prepaid card but today my friend went to use her card at store. Only to find out Menards got the $8 to rent the dolly. NEVER EVEN GOT IT AND SINCE THEY DIDNT RENT THAT TO US THEY DENTED THE APPLIANCE PUTTING IT IN TRUCK!

You save big money at Menards! Growing up in Minnesota, Menards was just a way of life. In moving to the South I was denied Menards and needed a fix. This Menards is great. Yes, it is like all other Menards, but after visiting this store I really wonder how any other home improvement store can compete. Menards really gets the overall experience. The employees walked me to what I was looking for on two separate visits. I was amazed by the full aisle of foam insulation! If I even need it, I know it is there. Great trip to Menards and even got a couple Menards coffee mugs!

They have a very helpful and knowledgeable stall. When I come in, I come in with a shopping list or a computer printout of the main things I want to purchase and 1 person will take complete charge of helping me find everything on my list. If they are not sure of an item or cannot locate an item, they will find a person that can help. Then the 2 of them will finish my shopping trip. I love that. On the dislike side of the store, a few products I thought were a great deal were junk.Try to stick with product names you are familiar and happy with. You will save money at Menards.

I have been using this store for a couple of years and usually had a nice experience but you never really know the value of a place till you have a large project. I recently took on a massive landscaping project and put them to the test. What a store! On top of the best prices around they helped with knowledge and when it was time to pick up gravel and mulch they even used the forklift and loaded the truck for us. Great store, great prices, great service and happy employees... keep it up Menards!

Worst shopping experience ever!!! Knew exactly what I wanted. Ask for help from 4 different lazy ass punk staff, after an hour of no help, asked to get manager...I was ignored 3 times on that request. Finally an hour and half later I was told go get a cart and just take whatever you want to store front cashier. I mind you were in barn in back with 13 foot long pieces. Seriously.. Never again. You deserve negative stars.

I own a business and used to shop here frequently. I went in to purchase some items the cashier did not see me waiting at her register. She grabbed another customer and pushed me out of the way. When I explained to her that I was there and trying to get her attention she just told me she didnt see me. When I talk to a manager the manager blew it off. My money will be spent elsewhere from now on.
