After visiting multiple times, I can say this location could have better employees. One time, we asked an employee a question about a light bulb. My husband make a counter point and the employee then made a blanket statement about him being wrong and that this is what he has on his floor and essentially told us that we should live with it and walked off. This evening, we went in to just to see if we could return paint because an employee had way overestimated how much wed need. Justin, a manager, came to assist us, and he and another employee who came along with him were totally unwilling to consider making the situation right from the beginning. The other employee said "its not even from our store" before we even said anything and rolled her eyes disrespectfully. Justin communicated we needed to go to the original store from which we purchased the paint. We asked him how much his store would have quoted, so we could see if it would be worth our time to go to the other location if this is what all stores quote. He became extremely defensive and said unprofessional things like "if youre such an expert..." etc. I dont think we were being unreasonable, we just wanted to see if there was anything that could be done and it escalated so quickly when that really did not need to be the case. Its just not worth it to me to go back to this store when I cant ask questions.

We bought a dishwasher there and the sales lady Pam was great. (only reason why they get any stars). We had it delivered on a Saturday. The install team right away saw me for a gullible woman and tried to tell me they couldnt install it because i had elevated flooring. Which I knew I did not. I had to beg them to take a look. Of course I was right. And immediately had attitude from them. They then told me the hose would be too short. They didnt even pull out the dishwasher at all to check. They are completely incompetent. And home depot knowing of their incompetence, keep offering their services. My partner just deployed last week. so I am trying to manage a house by myself. This sounds petty but I was looking forward to a new dishwasher. I am not from Ohio so I know no one. Home depot told me they would call me Monday. No call. Finally Tuesday after I called I got a call back and they couldnt do anything. Not even refer me to someone to install it. I then had to pay a plumber $300 to do it. It was the last thing I needed after being stressed out from my partners deployment. I will be getting a refund from the installation fee and haulaway fee I had paid home depot to do it. but that wont cover the installation and the stress. I will never buy appliances from home depot again.

Did you ever have a situation where you could do a cheap fix, which may not work, but to avoid another trip, you buy the larger more expensive solution, knowing you can return it later? This is what happened with my troublesome leaking toilet. I tried to return an unopened flush valve beyond the 3 months apparently on the receipt in smaller print, and they refused to refund my $17.xx! Yet others in the 30 min. line in front of me got refunds for large floor tiles no longer being sold, while another customer returned a 100 ft extension cord because they only USED 15 feet of it! So I guess the message is, no matter what, make sure you return your used, dirty products you TRY for less than 90 days and they will give you your refund. Now that I understand their policy, I think ill try one of their orange deck umbrellas for June and July, and if I dont like the color, maybe ill return it for a refund, then buy the nice green one to get me to the end of summer! I used to like HD until yesterday, but now, Ill turn lemmons into lemonade. ;)

I went to this Home Depot looking for a part. Since Im a "girl" and not familiar with the name of a part, I walked down three different ailes, looking incredibly lost. It seems like after 4 p.m. Home Depot sends all their employees home. The person in the parts department said hell be right back with me. Fifteen minutes later, he was and I described the part to him and he cant figure it out either. Im also convinced that he didnt have the patience or time to spend with what I was looking for since they seem to be short handed. So I walked out of there and went to TSC. They have my part and there were at least two employees helping me with what I need. Home Depot will need to realize that people who work during normal business hours are also DIY. If theres no one there to help us, we go elsewhere. I am willing to pay a few extra bucks at a smaller store. At least they help me there.

Received a dryer that didnt work. The install company was awful they didnt finish the install because they didnt bring all the parts. Called home depot they offered a replacement then said no. Finally, a week later they said ok to a replacement. Sent another dryer that was broken. The install company said it was due to our electrical box. So we had an electrician look at it verified it was again the dryer was broken. Told them I wanted a refund. At least so far they have agreed to that however we spent two weeks and money on an electrician. Customer service is terrible and the business they hire for installation is awful. Our landlord has also had the same issue with delivery of a stove and dishwasher both being late by days after scheduled and the dishwasher not working. If you want to everything to go wrong and take longer than expected go to home depot!

Everybody comes to the reviews when they are unhappy with their service and I just want to tell you about 2 people at the Feedwire store in the home improvement department. (COURTNEY and ROGER)It was a busy day (Saturday) and I needed some help with window blinds and we were not sure if they could be shortened or not but they were bound and determined to make sure that I was happy with what I was going to purchase. I have shopped there for convenience for a time but now I will return for these 2 employeess that not only did there jobs but did it with a great attitude and made me feel they valued me as a customer.and a person. So if the Big Shots that run the place read these I hope that you acknowledge these people and ones like them because there the reason I will return to your store. Thank you again Courtney and Roger see you soon!

My husband stopped by this Home Depot to buy a freezer for a non-profit organization we support this evening around 5:30. There was no one working in appliances at all. He waited the better part of a helf hour for someone to show up. He stopped a passing associate from Kitchen & Bath, who said she was with a customer but could answer a quick question. My husband said he just needed to buy an applicance. The K & B associate finished with her customer, walked past my husband and returned to her area and sat down at her computer without acknowledging him at all. After another 10 minutes or so, he left, advising other customers coming into the appliance area that no one was working there and that he was going to Lowes where he could get waited on.
