On Sunday, May 7, 2017, my husband and I visited the above-referenced store location to purchase an 18” Poulan PRO, 42 cc gas engine, chain saw that Home Depot had listed for $169. We brought with us Tractor Supply Company’s current sales circular advertising their identical 18” Poulan PRO, 42 cc gas engine, chain saw for the great price of $149.99 with the intent of having The Home Depot honor their Guaranteed Low Price, which states: If you find a current lower price on an identical, in-stock item from any retailer, we will match the price and beat it by 10%. Just bring the ad, printout or photo with you to the register for validation. Shockingly, not only did the Customer Service representative that waited on us indicate that Home Depot did not recognize Tractor Supply Company as a competitive retailer and refuse to honor the Guaranteed Low Price, she unapologetically dismissed us without further explanation. Our understanding is that the Tractor Supply Company operates over 1,600 retail stores in 49 states and its stock is traded on the NASDAQ exchange, which would make it a competitor of both The Home Depot and Lowe’s Home Centers. Sadly, we left the store extremely frustrated and highly disappointed. However, believing that Lowe’s Home Center would honor their Price Match Guarantee, we went across the street and presented the same sales circular to Customer Service representative, Macy, and the store manager. They promptly honored Lowes Home Centers promise and sold us an 18” Poulan PRO, 42 cc gas engine, chain saw for Tractor Supply Company’s sales price of $149.99. You can imagine, this experience has left us feeling very disillusioned with The Home Depot and its staff. And we will no longer give our patronage.

Always a good experience up here but today was better than usual. A gentleman by the name David (last name started with a C I think) offered to cut a 4x4 for me, when he asked how close the measurement needed to be, because their table saw "doesnt cut very straight" and I explained it was for a table he took an extra 20 mins when cutting to make sure they were even, level, and straight as possible. He went far beyond what he needed to do and probably saved me hours of work. Extremely grateful!

In general, I find the service at Home Depots spotty. However, I was extremely pleased with the one in Cumming. I called first and talked to a young guy in flooring. He was incredibly helpful. I subsequently visited, bought several boxes of stick on vinyl tiles, and the following day turned the floor in an unfinished storage room from gross to fantastic in a couple of hours and for less than $80. Not sure I would have tackled the project without the help he provided.

Middle of the day on Saturday? What was I thinking? The store was extremely busy and it was difficult for me to find help in the lumber department. I wouldnt mention it but they had one guy in the whole department trying to cover everybodys needs while other departments seemed to have two or three Associates just standing around. Thumbs up for the guy that helped me (and the other folks waiting) get my board cut.

Just bought my first house and this is my go-to Home Depot. Everyone Ive encountered has been super helpful, which is important to me because I barely know which end of the hammer to hold. Oh, beware the massive pothole near the stop sign at the northern part of the parking lot. Its deep enough to have fish in it. I love the guy below making a 1 star review because of an experience "several years ago."

I would like to send my appreciation for Paul Busseys (PB161L) help during our purchase of wet bar cabinetry and vanity for our basement finishing project. She was extremely helpful throughout the process and I would be glad to recommend her for employ of the month, year, etc. As well, the Cumming Store has been the best experience my husband Bill and I have had in years working with Home Depot.

Best customer service around!! My husband and I went to Lowes first and couldnt get anyone to help us AT ALL and after 1 employee completely ignored us we walked out. We walk into Home Depot and there is someone greeting us at the door, and employees everywhere asking if we need help! We walked in and 15 minutes later walking out with what we needed!!! We eill definitely we back!!

Bought carpet from the store at the end of January they went to install it and had a spot. Home Depot said they would re-order it and get it installed quickly. 3 weeks later and 6 weeks overall still no carpet and I keep getting the run around that is has shipped to the installer buy no one knows where it is. Buyer beware on their customer service and responsiveness

Busy but they do a good job managing it. I went in to buy some plywood, they cut it to the dimensions I needed free of charge. I had one small complaint that they had several fork lifts going when I went, so an aisle or two were closed. Just bad luck that the two aisles I needed were closed. Overall happy with the experience.

Had a horrible customer experience here several years ago when trying to buy a new water heater. Didnt get help in the store or over the phone. Went across the street and had great customer experience. I usually only come here now when I cant find what I need elsewhere.

Nice service, but usually hard to find someone after 8 pm, just like at any other Home Depot. Friendly staff, but the tile selection at this store is not as good as Lowes or The HD in Johns Creek down the road.

Personnel in garden area unhelpful. Would not help locating an item that was in stock. Went to Canton, GA store where they pulled the item and had it waiting at register when I arrived.

This is a great Home Depot! Selection and Service are fantastic. I have been going to this HD since it opened (Live on Sanders) and can honestly say the store continues to improve!
