Veteran unfriendly. Im a disabled Veteran and have shopped here for many years but, there is always, always an issue getting my 10% veterans discounts at this store even though I have a VA card which does say "service connected" as per their policy. On many occasions the cashiers just seem bothered to give out the discount or are were not informed of it, they always prompt you to "collect your receipts and bring them back" so that they can apply the discount to all receipts all at once, but when you do bring them back they dont honor them and say only the cashier can give the discount at the time of purchase. I have even talked to the manager on duty - Mike - and have been told that there is no way the cashiers would say that but, even though the cashiers names appear on all the receipts he didnt take any action to fix such or to at least investigate my claim of what I had been told repeatedly.... instead he held more of a tough luck, it didnt happen attitude. Home Depot makes a lot of money "painting" themselves as Veteran friendly in order to gain the business of veterans and military supporters in Howell and the surrounding area but are actually unwilling to follow through on their promise to veterans, what a joke, I will file a claim with the VA office. Additionally, I will take my business down the road to Lowes, which to date I have never had any issues concerning their Military/Veteran support.

Waited around for an hour for someone to help me get some trim. After the only woman around was done helping multiple customers by herself she called 3 times for someone to come help me, no one ever came. Jane was very helpful to me but sadly I think Ill b going to lowes from now on, they have more staff.

When Im doing home improvement on a weekend around the house Im sure to make at least 4 or 5 trips. The staff is always kind and helpful and there is someone who knows something about what you are trying to do, even on larger projects.

I had a power washer with a bad wand. And Dave in rental/repair stopped what he was doing to help me out to find and match up the right stuff and made my whole day a lot better. Good experience. Thanks again Dave

I have to drive nearly half an hour to exchange a faulty item that they show me. Not only do they not offer me a discount, not even a soda, they have to run the transaction in the most inefficient way possible.

Staff has always been helpful and polite. They even hunted down a hack saw so that I could cut some unistrut in half to fit in my car. Best home depot I have been to so far
