SHORT RIDE REVIEW: Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They wont do any unnecessary work to your bike just for the sake of charging you something. CROSS-COUNTRY REVIEW: Im new to Knoxville. When we moved to the area, I had to disassemble three bikes so I could box them for the moving truck. Once the bikes were unpacked and reassembled, I thought it would be a good idea to take them into the shop to have them properly adjusted and tuned. First up, was my wifes bike. It was less than six months old, had been properly fitted to her, and was by far the most expensive of the three. The guys at CBC assessed the bikes condition, concluding that the tires needed a little air, the chain needed some grease, and some minor adjustments were needed. Within 10 minutes, all the issues were addressed, and since the adjustments were so minor, there was no charge for the service! However, we didnt leave before leaving a little cash in the beer fund jar. The second bike, mine, was in worse shape. Nothing had been done to the bike in over 8 years. I noticed the pedals seemed a little cracked, so I figured I probably needed new ones. After looking it over, CBC said the cracking was just cosmetic--I could get new ones, but it wasnt necessary. Theyd put my old ones back on the bike and get it set with a tune-up within a week. Again, I really feel like they wont try to get you to spend any money that isnt necessary or better for your biking experience. Ill definitely return to get the third bike addressed and I feel like Ive found my bike shop in Knoxville!

Jerry and Tim and the everyone at CBC are the best in the business. I was in a jam today with some bike repair issues and had a cyclocross race tomorrow. I showed up right before closing thinking it was a long shot to get some help and Jerry came right up to me and said I can fix your bike and have you ready for the race...no problem at all. I had no options and hated to show up last minute but these guys made me a priority and got my bike back in perfect shape in no time. I was racing in Chattanooga earlier in the day and a mechanic at the race looked over my rear hub and derailleur issue and told me "when you get back to Knoxville, go the CBC...they have the best bike mechanics in town." My wife and I have used CBC for years and they have been great since the the first day I went in the the shop. If you need help with your bike repair or new bike purchase, then they are the guys to trust and their reputation is the best around.

Just bought a new Trek 3500. I used an old Cannondale bike for trade in. I tried out a few bikes. Loved them all but the sales rep fit me in a great bike to fit my budget. He suggested upselling of course to the next model but really wasnt pushy. Said it wasnt worth the extra money to have an upset wife. My bike needed to be built and there was a mistake in inventory so it had to be ordered. They threw in a few extras to make up for the inconvenience. Nothing major but I was going to buy the accessories anyway so saved me a little money. He then helped me find a helmet that would fit my toddler. Those werent the biggest things to blow me away. My bike wouldnt fit completely assembled in my vehicle so we took the tire off. I got home only to realize that we had dropped the nut that holds the tire in place. The sales rep Mike drove to my house to make sure I had it. Who does that? Theyve got my business for a long time.

I went in to the cycle shop for them to rewrap by handle bars. I was directed to the back where they fix the bicycles. After seeing me, the guy working on the bikes insisted on showing another employee how to true up a tire instead of helping me. I waited for 20 minutes! Another woman walked in and right back past me. They took care of her first before even paying any attention to me. The employees in this store are not professional and obviously do not have a business mindset because they do not know how to treat customers. I can honestly say that I will never go to this store again. I am really not sure why the store had as many customers in it as it did. If they do not learn how to executed a business properly, it will be closed in no time.

I have been a customer of CBC for years. Buying kid bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes and all the related gear to go with them. The staff is great at helping you pick the correct bike at the right price point. A good bike really starts with a fitting. They understand the fitting process and while I am not in the optimal shape, they help to get me in a comfortable position. But it is the service after the sale that really helps. The mountain bikes have taken a beating and it is great to know the service is there behind it. While we had a unfortunate wreck that broke the frame of one of the bikes, CBC is standing behind the bike and has made us more than whole with a upgrade to a new ride. They are my go to source for bikes in Knoxville.

Great bike shop. I spent a month in Knoxville for work over the summer and participated in the group rides that leave from the shop in the afternoon. I also did a professional bike fit with one of the stores owners, Jerry. When Jerry noticed my rear cassette was only meant for the flats and not the mountains in Tennessee, he let me borrow his personal cassette (Dura Ace) for the time I was in Tennessee. It saved my legs on a century ride I did (Cherohala challenge) with over 7000 ft of climbing. I probably would have died or something being from Louisiana and having a set up for flat roads. Cedar Bluff meets and exceeds expectations!

I would highly recommend Cedar Bluff Cycles to anyone looking for a bike shop in Knoxville. The staff has always been very friendly and knowledgeable. I always have my bike tuned up here before races and have always been happy with their work. I have recently had my tri bike fit by Gerry, he was very professional and really cared about getting the fit right. He spent a lot of time making sure my bike was comfortable to ride including putting on a new set of aerobars so that the fit was right. I cant recommend these guys enough!
