I like Home Depot, however we decided to get a gate for our porch from them. The service at the store excellent. However, they sent a guy from the fence sales and installation department to measure the porch to give us a gate, he did so, on 05.24.2012. We called on the first week of June to do the gate, he said he was going to give us the paperwork and never did. We called him again he said he "forgot" and would send us the paperwork, he never did. I called the 1800 customer service, and complained they never called me back. I called the manager at the store, she was super friendly and told me she was going to call me back...never..did..Today after 2 months I still have NO GATE!! I gave them all the chances to take my money, I guess they did not want it.. I called Lowes...just across the street, immediately we got scheduled in, the installation department guy was amazing, and called me today with a quote and its delivering the paperwork as we speak. The quote from Home Depot : 463.17 The quote from Lowes: 387.50 5 stars to Lowes for excellent price and excellent service...will not bother to go back to Home Depot again.

This past Sunday I searched for an associate to help me find some items at the Home Depot on Old Hickory Blvd in Nashville. No luck. It was Sunday. Go figure. I found the items I needed and proceeded to the checkout. One checkout line open and self checkout had two of the four machines closed. It was Sunday. Go figure. I tried the self checkout as the one checkout line had a line of about 8 people waiting. The self checkout machine would not scan one of the three items I had so I looked for an attendant to help. No luck! It was Sunday! Go figure! Now the problem is this; no staff, management is non existent, and customer service means nothing to Home Depot. I have always been a "Home Depot guy" but it looks as if the times are a changing. There is absolutely no excuse for a company with revenues approaching billions of dollars to allow this to happen. And btw, stop hiring 16 year olds who dont know the difference between drywall and doornobs.

The past 2 times in a row I visited this Home depot my experience was so terrible that I ended up just walking out and going to Lowes or elsewhere for my product. The first time I asked the cashier (because I couldnt find a soul to help me) where a certain tree was. She kinda pointed and said in the back over there or out front with the flowers. I walked around the entire garden area and outside and never found it. She didnt offer to page someone to help me or anything. My second visit I went to buy a power tool, which you have to get someone to get for you, again not a soul in site to help me and when I saw an employee I started to walk toward him to ask for help and he quickly turned and walked the other way. I stood in the center aisle and waited for a few minutes to see if any employees might walk by only to find several other customers doing the same thing. I

Went in to grab something today and they shut down the lane so that a guy could put some paint cans up. I stood there for about 15 minutes about 10 feet from where I what I needed to get. No one ever offered to help and just kept looking at me waiting on them I even mentioned what I needed to get and they completely ignored me. I will take my business to Loves from now on. I usually enjoy shopping at Home Depot and have no issues. However this location must have a lot of dumbasses working there. And customer service is not to their top priority.

Horrible customer service. Needed to buy a double french patio door today. The woman couldnt be bothered to answer any questions, she just blurted out we dont have any wooden doors, they have to be ordered and handed me a 4 inch thick stack of catalogs. Go to lowes, youll get way friendlier people to help you. Btw this is the 2nd time I stopped to Inquire about doors, the first time I stood around for 30 minutes and never had even one employee ask if I needed help. Avoid this big box bum.

FANTASTIC customer experience! Got a used car from a friend and the battery in it died. The battery was only 1 year old, and was still under warranty, but my friend lost the receipt. I took it in to see if I could get a warranty replacement, and they wanted to see the receipt. I told them I didnt have it and needless to say, they found a way to make it work! They exchanged it for a brand new one. Thats some excellent customer service! Definitely would recommend!

Not a good experience for me. Only tried to return a drill set that i didnt like but was still new in packaging that i had purchased for 129$ on sale was told i would only receive 75 dollars back this is complete nonsense as the drill were still new with not even a scratch. I know that the customer is supposed to come first in every situation and could not believe the way this situation was handled. Very disappointed

Customer service is always awful. Today they hit a new level...my car. Loading my new flooring into the back of my vehicle, they damaged several of the plastic molding pieces on my brand new car. Employees response, "Its just plastic."....ON MY CAR! Today was the last straw, I will never again give my service and money to this moronic company.

This Home Depot fast courteous and not a long line theyre all of their stuff is better than the lows that I went to they seem to treat you better I highly recommend any Home Depots are there always good and this one was fast and service was friendly and the cashier was real nice to me I always recommend the Home Depot

Extremely helpful staff. We bought our floors from here as special order. One of the boxes was damaged and they made sure we felt comfortable with the purchase bfs discounting our order. They worked with us to make sure we were satisfied. We also bought our appliances here. Always a great experience.

I like this store. Its very neat and clean and the sales rep are very helpful. We alsi like their child workshops which my son loves too. Every month or so they have some new workshop activity. I removed one star as during adult workshop, they just answer auestions and not teach anything new.

Service was horrible and the employes were lazy and extremely rude. Also, they had no one at the pro desk and customer service was very reluctant to do a phone sale. Worth it to drive to gallatin, Nashville, or Lebanon Home Depot

I think this is the best group of guys in tool rental Ive ever met! We had a water pipe bust under the driveway and they new exactly what we needed and helped us in every way they could. I will never go anywhere else! God Bless
