I recently visited Pet Supplies Plus on Jefferson next to Walmart. It was a wonderful experience! Besides the delightful little ferret that was in the arms of the sales person, I enjoyed looking around and was able to find just what I needed within minutes. The store was well stocked and laid out very well. Prices were competitive and the sales people were attentive and friendly. I even signed up to receive additional discounts on what I normally purchase! Pet Supplies Plus is my easy-in, easy-out go to store for all my pet food and other supplies! I love this store, but there was one thing I saw that I did not like at all when we went there last time. It got me very mad. One thing that I cannot stand is when employees will clean during hours. Cleaning is suppose to be done after hours or before. This is what I exactly saw. A girl was vacuuming right at the front door. If I was outside wanting to go in, I would think they would be closed. The girl vacuuming was right at the door blocking it. They must not want anybodys business towards the end of the day.

The fish were dying/ ill when I went to visit. They werent cared for well. One of the containers with fish had white gunk floating all throughout it and the fish was barely moving. Not to mention the fact that it was floating towards the top trying to get more air. I did not like this one bit.

The staff at Pet Supplies Plus in Cookeville was incredibly helpful while we were purchasing our daughters first aquarium. Assistant manager Kathy is a wealth of knowledge and gave us very good advice. Also, the prices are better than the competition across town.
