First off, I purchased a harness that I was told my dog couldnt get out of. I wanted my money back. While my boyfriend was purchasing the girl working did not say that store policy was that no returns only in store credit.They have a small sign on their computer. While making sure your kid and puppy dont break anything it is easy not to see this. But the woman who sold it to us should of said it is only in store credit. Or get a bigger sign! Never will I be back again nor do I suggest anyone go here. Their stuff is garbage. And the man who is Co owner is a very snarky jerk. Go someone else! And I still need a WORKING harness that my dog cant get out of.

Barkstown Road is the ONLY place I will shop for my pup. The staff is so knowledgable and courteous and is always ready to answer our questions. They have helped us adjust our dogs food to handle some allergy issues and I cant thank them enough! Our furry one also cant get enough of Barkstown, whenever we get close in the car she starts going crazy! She knows a good treat or toy is nearby! The icing on the cake... the stuffed "tough" toys at Barkstown are some of the only that have lived through our energetic border collie mix.

We love Barkstown Rd and wish we lived closer! Kim and her staff are knowledgable and caring. They treat each customer with the upmost respect. Our pup went through 2 years of allergy issues and other related upsets. Kim worked with us to find the perfect food for him and (knock on wood) we have had no issues or vet visits other than regular check ups for 2+ years! Thank you, Barkstown Rd!

Kim and her staff are so knowledgeable and helpful, especially with food recommendations, and you can tell this store is more about the bottom line - this is a labor of love! If you care about your four-legged companion, you should shop at Barkstown Road, the store that cares about them too!

Awesome place! They have great food, treats and toys, for both cats and dogs!! They are always very helpful! I buy my little Bella, dog food and treats here! I also own a pet sitting business and I always refer my clients here, especially if their fur babies are experiencing digestive issues. The dog and cat food they carry is top of the line!

Love having a local store where I can get advice about what to feed my pets. Along with quality affordable food the toys they sell are (mostly) indestructible. My dogs love to come in and pick out something special to chew on - hoofs, antlers, all kinds of yucky things. I always keep some extra on hand for a rainy day when we cant take a walk.
